TYPE OF COMPETITION
Prize draw competition.
DURATION OF THE COMPETITION
The competition opens on the 8th September 2008 and closes on the 8th October 2008. The final draw will take place no later than the 15th October 2008.The Promoter commits itself to not launching the present competition before having informed the Ministry for Economic Development and shown proof of having paid a suitable deposit.

ENTRANTS
The competition is open to visitors of the blog at the internet address www.venere.com/blog/ or registered users who receive the Venere.com newsletter.
NON-ELIGIBLE PERSONS
Employees of VENERE NET SPA, their relatives and all those who do not to fall into the category of “entrants” are not eligible to take part in the competition.
HOW THE COMPETITION WORKS
Visitors to the blog at the internet address www.venere.com/blog/ or registered users who receive the Venere.com newsletter will be able to participate in the competition simply by replying to the question asked at the end of the video “Behind the scenes at Venere.com”.Only one physical person can participate in the competition, therefore multiple entries are not permitted.PLEASE NOTE THAT:
- The internet site www.venere.com is owned by the Promotor;
- Participants shall not be liable for any further expense than the cost of connection to the Internet, which depends on the price plan agreed with one’s own telephone company, subject to no further increase.The lucky winner, who will be awarded the prize on offer, will be drawn out from among all of those who have replied correctly to the question no later than 12.00 midnight (CET) 8th October 2008.
The draw for the awarding of the prize on offer will take place no later than 15th October 2008 at the head offices of the Promoter, in the presence of a Notary or a representative of the Rome Chamber of Commerce or his representative.In order to ensure that the awarding of the prize is impartial and random, the draw will take place using software specially designed for this purpose, the functioning of which has been certified with a declaration by the software’s creator.The winner will be notified of their win through an email and a letter with recorded delivery; useful indications on how to make use of the prize will be contained in these communications.In case it is not possible to trace the first person who is drawn out, 4 other names will be drawn out in reserve.Should it not be possible, for whatever motive, to notify the winner within 14 days from the date of the draw, the prize will be given to the first of those on the reserve list.As a condition for the delivery of the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to ask the winner for a written declaration confirming the prize’s receipt.
PRIZE
The prize on offer is:One 5-day and 4-night stay in Rome with breakfast included for 2 persons at the Hotel Exedra in Rome; the total value of the prize is equal to €3.000,00, excluding VAT.The cost of the outward and return journey, as well as any other costs not expressly indicated, are excluded from the prize and are therefore to be paid by the winner.The market value as indicated above was accurate at the time of writing these rules and corresponds to the value indicated in the price list.The Promotor is liable for awarding the winner in accordance with the rules of the competition herewith, providing for an alternative prize of equal or greater value as the promised one.Should the prize indicated in these rules and featured in publicity material not be available or obtainable on the market when it is to be delivered, the winner will not be able to demand exactly this prize.A winner who is not able or does not want to make use of the prize has no right to demand to be payed any sum of money, nor be payed the equivalent in gold tokens.A winner who is not able or does not want to make use of the prize does not have any right to pass on the prize to a chosen third party, who can make use of it on his/her behalf. To allow this, the winner must present a signed document in which he/she confirms in writing to have given up the prize to a third party, including the third party’s name, address, telephone numbers and email address.By claiming the prize, the winner authorizes the use, without additional compensation of his or her name and/or likeness municipality of residence for promotion and/or advertising purposes in any manner and in any medium (including without limitation, newspapers and other publications, distribution over the internet and picture date storage) which Venere Net SpA may deem appropriate.
IRPEF (INCOME TAX)
The Promotor declares that it has no intention of shifting the IRPEF (income tax) onto the winner according to art. 30 D.P.R.600/1973, and will pay the tax.
DEADLINE FOR THE DELIVERY OF THE PRIZE
The prize will be delivered no later than 180 days from the date of the draw.
DONATION OF THE PRIZE
If the prize has not been assigned, it will be donated to AMREF ITALIA (a non-profit organisation), via Boezio 17, 00193 Roma.
PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA (ART. 13 D. LGS. 196/ 2003)
The processing of participants’ personal data will be undertaken by the Promotor, mainly through the use of information technology, in accordance with the Legislative Decree 196/2003 Code on the protection of personal data. This allows competitors to participate in the competition and enables the delivery of the prize upon winning.Should it be necessary for the above mentioned reasons, personal data will be communicated to a third party who collaborate with the Promotor in organising the competition, to a Notary, to the official responsabile for recording the running of the competition, and to the Ministry for Economic Development in accordance with the procedures foreseen by the law on competitions (DPR 430/01).If consent to the processing of personal data is not obtained, then it will not be possible to participate in the competition.In accordance with art. 7 D. lgs. 196/2003, the participant has to the right to know his/hers own data and to exercise all of the rights relative to their use (amending, updating, cancellation in case of a violation of the law on the processing of personal data, opposition to the use of the personal data for sending publicity material, etc.).
PUBLICITY OF THE RULES AND THE COMPETITION
The competition will be publicised with a press realease and on the blog at the internet address www.venere.com/blog/. Such publicity will conform to what has been declared in these rules.These rules will be published entirely on the blog at the internet address www.venere.com/blog/.
PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION
Participation in this competition entails a complete and unconditional acceptance by the participant of the rules and clauses contained herein.
CHANGES AND/OR ADDITIONS TO THE RULES
The Promotor, aware of the fact that the publication of these rules constitutes a promise to the public in accordance with articles 1989, 1990 and 1991 of the Civil Code, reserves the right to change and/or supplement the content of these rules. If it is necessary to do this, the changes will not harm the rights of the competition’s entrants, who will be notified about the change or addition using the same or equivalent methods by which these rules were communicated.ROME, 8 SEPTEMBER 2008
