Eating a great roast in London, UK
Are you fed up with visiting places and feel just like a tourist? Are you in London and willing to enjoy a trully Bristish experience? One of the things to do in London to feel like a Londoner is to simply enjoy the Sunday meal in a pub, preferably in an old-school drinking hole, one of the remaining old man’s pubs.
Some of the places in which to have a tasty Sunday Roast are:
1. The Owl and the Pussycat: Due to the yumminess of food and the large portions, this place is always packed and it’s almost impossible not to fight to get a table!
2. The Bear: Even if this spot has been in the Observer awards, you’ll find locals having their tasty Sunday roast with the mouth-watering duck-fat roast potatoes.
3.The Montague Arms: Why to choose The Montague Arms for your Sunday roast? Because this is the traditional roast, as London Grans make it.
4.The Cat’s Back: Half roast chicken with broccoli cheese.
5. College Arms: Crispy roast potatoes and welcoming atmosphere (native gossip included!).
