Ice-skating in London has proven increasingly popular during the past winters and there is no reason why 2012 should be any different! You can choose some of the city’s most outstanding landmarks as the destinations for gliding. Some of the most fantastic places to skate are Somerset House, Hyde Park, the Tower of London and the Natural History Museum, which are all be home to rinks this year. These are not the only ones as there are other several places for London ice skating. Wherever you work, live or hang out, there is always somewhere to ice skate!

London has eight ice-skating rinks in total. In addition to those mentioned earlier, we also have Canary Wharf, Hampton Court Palace, and Kew Gardens. Although dates, times and prices of these ice rinks may vary, avid skaters can begin skating at the Natural History museum, and continue up to February 17th at the Canary Wharf. In London, Somerset House is perhaps the famous. It is strategically located at the center of the city, supported by the beautiful buildings and crisp London air. The prices for kids are 7 pounds and 10-15 pounds for adults. These prices are differ by the time of the day. Other rinks have similar prices.
