Hi-
I was in charge of planning a family trip to either italy or spain for 17 people ranging in age from 3-80 and came across a few websites that were very helpful. ciaobambino.com was good because it was concise and specifically listed what child things were at the properties (crib, highchair, playground) and fodors.com is great for asking for recommendations too.

Susan,

The microwave is another must have. I've never seen bottle sterilizers in rooms, but what a great idea! When I think of all the equipment we had to pack when my kids were infants it makes me wonder how we ever made it out of the house. Hotels who think about the needs of parents definitely made our job easier!

Excellent article Amy! Another thing to look out for if you have very small children is a microwave or in the room, which could come in handy to heat formula and dinner blends. Also, bottle sterilizers are sometimes available in hotels.
