We had two very young children 2 and 10 months so we had to pass on the kayaks and we rented a pontoon boat. It was a great experience, we saw several Manatees and even tried to swim with them, but we were to chicken to swim out to them. Later we saw a huge alligator about a half mile away and were wondering what we were thinking getting in the water. The kids will never forget it....especially when I get the photos in the scrapbook!
