Newspapers vs iPad, Travelling Solo, Harry Potter World

The Sofitel chain of hotels has just announced that it will be providing iPads for its guests, instead of supplying daily newspapers. We  think it’s a great initiative, it’s a further step towards complete digitalization of press and information. However this issue does bring some interesting questions to mind: how many years will it take before handwriting completely disappears? Read the article here.

    matteo, I get all my US fashion magazines in digital format and though I can read them on my lap top I so want an iPad as it’s easy to cart around especially if you like reading in bed like I do.:)

    Fantastic! Keep the publishing industry going but save those trees! I get newspaper, magazines AND my email on iPad, and love it!
