Young beaches

When you’re young you want action, night life, people and culture. You want intimate restaurants nearby with first class local cuisine if you’re a couple, but relaxing beaches where you can unwind with plenty of opportunity to party, if you’re part of a group.

Otranto, East Coast of Salento & Gallipoli, Lecce
There are excellent beaches at Gallipoli, Lecce that cater for the young. There are parties on the beach, dancing, music, or if that doesn’t suit you, you can escape to admire the breath-taking architecture of Gallipoli, then weave your way through the narrow streets to the local bars. Otranto on the east coast of Salento also provide a lively and exciting combination of sun, sea, sand and parties. Here you can bask in the sun and party at night.

Family beaches

When you’re part of a family, you want safe clean beaches with shallow waters close by to local amenities, with plenty of activities to keep kids entertained. You want peace of mind and the knowledge that your kids will not only have a great time, but that they’ll be safe in their environment.

Cala dei Ginepri, Ostuni
Ostuni offers a magnificent beach for children; their beach has a snack bar close to the beach in case the kids get hungry and it’s also close to a nature reserve. So here you get a beautiful, clear, clean beach with shallow waters, but with plenty to keep the children busy should they get bored. Then you have Porto Selvaggio, Nardo in Salento with sea, rock and plenty of Mediterranean breezes. It’s won awards for its clean waters, so it’s excellent for children with no night life to keep them awake.
