Held four times a year at the Atahotel Executive, next to Porta Garibaldi train and metro station, Fumettopoli is the biggest cartoon festival in Milan, Italy.
With over one hundred stands, editors, cartoonists, comic magazines, rare comic books, vintage comic strips, gadgets, DVDs, and brand new productions from International and Italian comic creators, Fumettopoli attracts numerous cartoon collectors and comics fans who come to complete their collections by buying and swapping material. Festival events also include book presentations, debates, competitions, dj performances, and ‘cosplay‘ theatrical shows.
In addition to be one of the major rendezvous for Italian comics aficionados, the upcoming edition of Milan Fumettopoli international comics festival is indented to be a charity event. This year, the money raised through entry fees will be donated to the Pattaya Redemptorist School for the Blind in ChonBuri, Thailand.
