To get the best out of diving or snorkeling in France, its best to go to one of the many diving centers along the coastline, not only to have proper guidance but also to find out where the best spots are. The climate is so pleasant that one can enjoy diving at any time of the year, but the best season is from May til November.

Saint Raphaël is known to be the main diving hotspot in France. The diving sites along the 42 kilometer coastline vary in difficulty so whether you’re new to the game or you’ve dived many times before, there’s something for everyone. Saint Raphaël is known for its numerous underwater artifacts and due to its popularity and rich underwater attractions, there are numerous diving centers.

Another popular snorkeling site found in the French Riviera is the area located around the Var Coast. There are numerous underwater attractions including sunken ships and planes. You can also enjoy exploring the fascinating coastlines.

Scuba diving is quite popular in Nice. This is an area located on the Riviera and is known as a top scuba diving site. Its popularity has been brought about by its numerous underwater attractions that keeps swimmers occupied throughout their exploration. As one of the leading sites, this area also has a number of diving schools that provide qualified instructions and guidance for the divers.

While talking about the scuba diving in French Riviera, one can’t ignore Antibes, where the depth has a range from 6-60 meters. The place also offers stunning topography having canyons, rocks and deep pinnacles. The experience of swimming through Grotte de Miro cavern is just wonderful.

    Oh, French Riviera…man, I had a lot of great memories in that place scuba diving. It’s where I’ve seen the most wonderful display of marine wildlife and it’s very abundant. There is no place like it, which is why it’s heaven for most divers.
