I like the list and supporting text, makes an interesting read. I'm not so sure about Bangkok. I have been to Bangkok a number of times, but never really got into the "holiday" mode. May be I'm missing the right places within Bangkok or may be I need better company. It's funny you mention Perth as that is one place I really love. I think Australia adds a "magnitude" angle (if you know the right places to go to) and I think that's more efficient use of your time away. I'm one of those who travel for the diversity of it. Overall, I like this list and it has indeed helped me decide on my next holiday destination - Johannesburg. Any commensecurity?
