Mariah McKenna, grew up just North of San Francisco. While working as a preschool teacher, she decided to go back to university to pursue her love of reading and writing. When her husband was offered the chance to work abroad the couple jumped at the chance, and just days after receiving her BA in English from UC Berkeley they moved to Amsterdam, where they have been living for one year and are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their first child in March.
