Best Western Trend Hotel - Regensdorf, Zurich

We arrived at 18h00 and were told that the apartment we had reserved was not yet ready ! We were asked to wait until they could prepare it, and when we told them that this was not normal we were very rudely treated by one of the staff, who didn't even excuse for the problem. We will never return their nor do we recommend any one go there, despite the attractive price.

This hotel has no air conditioning and is near the flight path of the airport, making the room noisey at all take offs. The desk clerks while professional were not oriented to help with questions any more then required to. Only one of three restaurants were open and the breakfast buffet was not a value. It cost us $60.00 by taxi to get to the hotel from the downtown train station and the clerk said that was "cheap". This would be an OK hotel for business but not for tourists or families on a budget. The closest commuter train platform is a 7 minute walk, if you carry luggage or packages GOOD LUCK.

the room was nice and tidy and excellent value for the price and it was only 5 mins from the railway station and it was only 10 mins to zurich city centre

Very nice good location to tourist information close to a majority of the places I was going great stop. rooms were huge especially for a european country were the rooms tend to be extremely small.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise, very good value for money compared to other properties around Zurich. Best reached by car. Maybe the breakfast is a bit overpriced at SFR18, but we will definitely reserve here again.

We just slept there, but we slept very very well!!! Very nice place to stay.

The price for breakfast is too expensive.

We got an offer in EUR and the hotel had us pay in CHF, with an exchange rate of 1.7 (which of course was not quite the same, as the rate of our creditcard provider was 1.63). This was not mentionned neither on the site nor on the reservation sheet. We had a problem with the heating system and couldn't find any other solution than sleep with open windows (in November).

More of a business hotel, near the airport but otherwise out of town. Located in semi-industrial area, definitely not quaint. Service was good, place was clean, but their in house resturants were expensive.

The facilities were extremely well appomnted. As with most hotels in Europe, we found that there is no air conditioning - also, in order to get ice cubes, we had to go to the bar and, fo the most part, we were given a 'glasss' of cubes (no ice bucket). Also, some of the blinds in our romm did not function properly
