Had booked two rooms for two nights through Venere but hotel had only allocated 1 room for one night, not sure if this was hotel or Venere problem, hotel staff sorted very quickly. Staff were pleasant but not perticularly helpfull when asking about local transport. Also there was confusion over the rate quoted by Venere, if I had not challenged I think I would have been charged more. Rooms clean and of a good size. Air con very noisy and the extract air to the corridor was next to the room and also noisy. Self service breakfast ok. The hotel is about 40 mins by train from Washington ( Venere map indicates it is closer )and the station is about 4 miles from hotel and has free all day parking, we found this very convenient though last train in is 08.30 and 18.20 back. There is a restuarant adjacent hotel for evening meals. Hotel is in a pleasant area with a large shopping mall adjacent.

You need a car to stay here. Great shopping and restaurants close by. Use the Metro to get into the center of DC is easy but don't forget you need to pay for parking. Staff at hotel very helpful and friendly.

Th Best Western was excellent. The staff helpful and friendly and the rooms clean and spacious...however, Venere.com left a LOT to be desired. When we arrived at the hotel, my reservation was not on the system and the hotel had newver even heard of Venere.com If it wasnt for the helpful staff we may not have been able to stay at the hotel.
