Best Western Hotel Pension Arenberg - Vienna

Very nice hotel. Excellent breakfast! Very nice room, good location, nice staff, good price.

We were a group of four, the room was clean a little bit small, the bed was comfortable, the only thing that bothered me was that the toilet seat was in a small room in the hallway and the bathtub and sink in another...:))...overall it was a pleasant stay and a very good breakfast, the hotel is situated in the center of the city and has access to all the public transportation.

The receptionist was a rude lady who welcomed us with her non smiling face.Just because one of my friends was a smoker,she was going to throw him out of the hotel.Other than the staff hotel is at an amazing placa and you can reach around by walking.Every attraction is so close.But for so many doors and locks to open,the hotel seems out of time.

The Hotel is a small private one located in a Commercial Building. The Bathroom is exceptional and is as big as the sleeping area which is a little tight. The Breakfast has just about everything you could ask for. The inner city Tram is located just outside the front doors and buying the Vienna Card is the Best way to go as it is Valid for 72 hours with unlimited trips. A daily pass cost 5.7 euro so for 3 days it is about the same cost which makes all the other benefits a bonus. Outside to the right about 40' is a small Pizza Resturant but dont let this fool you as the have a complete menu and their food is excellent with some of the best prices in Vienna. On Friday and SAturday the Hotel is booked solid and this explains why the rates increase on the weekend as many visitors come in the city for shopping and so the hotels take advantage of this. This hotel is best for couples only and would not recommend it for Familys with Children

The room had an air-conditioned of last century ! very very noisy and unefficient but better than nothing as we couldn't open the window, the room being on the Ring. Hotel well located near the tram and 10mn walk from the arrival of the bus from the airport at Schebenplatz. (on the return to Vienna we stayed at Hotel Stefanie near by which we highly recommend)

The room looked so different from the picture on the web that all of our family got disappointed as we entered the room. The walls of the room was so thin and we could easily hear next doors conversation,although it was not clear, it was annoying.

Malheureusement les chambres sont "parfaitement" insonorisees, on entend tous les bruits des chambres voisines. Les petits dejeuners sont copieux, il y a pas mal de bons restaurants aux alentours.

An excellent moment in a godgious hôtel. The staff is very helpfull. Thank you to everyone.

Excellent idea to create a hotel in an old building and only on 2 intermediate floors.

THE HOTEL IS NOT CHEAP BUT IT IS WORTH IT.2 FLORRS OF THE OLD BEAUTIFUL BUILDING.VERY FASHIONABLE, COSY AND UNUSUAL ROOMS WITH GODGEOUS BED LINING- THE BREAKFAST WAS REALY RICH AND NICE. THE STAFF IS OK!LOCATION IS OK BUT NOT REALY IN THE CENTER CENTER BUT THE CENTER WILL BE IN 15 MIN WALK -THE PLACE IS REALY NICE AND QUIET- NOT FAR FROM THE MAIN STATION AND THE AIRPORT SHUTTLE- JUST ON THE RING BOULEVAR WHERE ALL THE MAIN ATTRACTIONS ARE- THE METRO STATION IS 5 MIN WALK- AND THE HOTEL IS REALY CLOSE TO hUNTERWASSER HAUS.I WOULD RERCOMEND IT TO OTHERS BUT NOT FOR THOSE WHO WANTS TO BE IN THE CENTRE OF NIGHT LIFE AND SHOPPING BUT FOR THOSE WHO WANT COMFORT!

Nice small hotel in the center of Vienna. N.B. Parking in Vienna is for free on saturdays and sundays, so you don't have to pay for the parking lot which the hotel offers.

Siamo rimasti a Vienna per due notti alloggiando in questa carinissima pensione. La struttura è al 2° e 3° piano di un palazzo sul Ring della città. La posizione è eccellente, in 3 minuti a piedi si arriva nella zona pedonale, vale a dire Santo Stefano e dintorni. La pensione è molto carina, curata, dignitosissima. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è favorevole. Accanto alla struttura c'è un posteggio coperto (circa 200 metri di distanza), nel fine settimana si posteggia gratuitamente nelle stradine del quartiere. Ci tornerei senza remore.

Ottima posizione, per visitare la città. Vicinissimo alla stazione centrale e al duomo si santo Stefano. Stanza spaziosa, pulita, colazione abbondante e supervaria. Ci tornero' di certo

Our room was arranged nicely and stylish. It wasn't huge but still comfortable. Hotel is well located, short walk to National Opera or The Cathedral while it is not typical - it occupies only two floors of the building! Next time I could easily consider the same place.

Best Western hotel Pension Arenberg was a extremely nice hotel, the staff very kind and helpfull, the service absolutely the best we have ever experienced. I will absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who goes to Vienna

This was a quality place. The single room was compact but to be expected. Very clean. Only one issue the bathroom smelled like someone had smoked a pack of cigarettes. There was some remodeling going on but didnt bother me. Very good location to see everything in downtown Vienna and so near the night life of the Bermuda triangle.

Really great place...great breakfast... really nice staff and welcoming place. I can walk 2 mins and be to the Stephanplaz....

I was very pleased with the hotel and all of the employees. It's very close to the CAT..a :16 ride to the airport..9E. Intend to make a res for August shortly. irishjohn

We made the reservation for this hotel cos we expected hot weather and regardind room description there should be "Individually controlled air conditioning". Our room had NO aircon. We could not open window cos outside was noisy (loud aircon or something like that). We asked for a room as reserved with aircon - no rooms were available. It was very hot in the room, we didn't sleep well. Neither venere.com nor hotel feels responsible for that kind of misinformation.

The hotel is small and seems not to be popular. The taxi driver at the station did not remember the address of the hotel and I indicated the direction to go using a map. However the location is good for any travel purposes. The hotel has several types of rooms and facilities differ depend on the types, I guess.
