Best Western Hotel De' Capuleti - Verona

Problems with getting prommised car permision for parking, without trying to solve the problem. The staff was uncaring and impatience. The night worker knows very poor English and is very arrogant.

We stayed in Verona for 2 days. All in all it was a perfect trip. I can recommend the hotel De Capuleti to everyone who wants to visit the beautiful city of Verona.Thank you to the staff at the hotel.The breakfast was excellent, too. The hotel is only 10 minutes away from the arena. We really enjoyed the stay.

Bathroom looked really nice but the ceiling was really mouldy and mildew smelly. A shame for and otherwise really nice hotel. Fantastic breakfast!!!

Good city hotel with small clean rooms; expensive during opera season, but the excellent location makes up for it. P arking on the street.

Only stayed here for one night as I was taking my sons to the Verona Arena, however, hotel and staff were excellent. The room was small, dark and had no view. This was not a problem to us but might be if you were visiting Verona for longer. For a city break I would definitely go back as it was well located just outside the city walls and easy to find.

The location for going to the Arena programs is great. However, my room stank of cigarette smoke and there were no non-smoking available. The room was TINY and I found the price exhorbitant for what you got in terms of space and other amenities.

Hotel conveniently located just outside wall to old city. No view and non inspiring environment. The staff were efficient but inpersonal.

Hotel De' Capuleti is located on a busy street in a commercial section only a few blocks from Verona's Arena, major plazas, and other historical attractions. While the room was comfortable, we heard the late-night and early-morning traffic and street noise even on the fifth floor. While the hotel promotes "free parking" you must find a parking spot on the street or pay a daily garage rate. The bathroom developed a "musty" order after first shower use. Buffet breakfast was ample and very good. Verona offers many attractions and interests, including some fine restaurants and shopping. But we would stay along the Adige river next time.

Very nice, small hotel with own garage(!!) - ca. 150m, (very easy to reach from Autostrada A4 - Verona Sud),friendly and helpfull staff, ideal for the visit of performances in the Arena (less than 10 minutes walk). Breakfast offers a lot and enough. For my next opera visit in Verona I surely will book this hotel again!!

The hotel is exelent, a very good location. Breakfast is very good. The only problem is that the showers are very small. The personal in the hotel is very helpful.

Great breakfast. Room was small, but clean and comfortable (part of Best Western chain). Some great dinner recommendations from staff which made things easy for us. From the hotel it is about a 5 minute walk to the Arena and about a 20 minute walk to the train station. It didnt seem worth taking the bus from the train station as the bus route doesnt really get that close to the hotel (so its either taxi or walk).

The location of the hotel is excellent for the central city. The quality of the breakfasts was outstanding, spoilt for choice of hot and cold food. I could recommend room 516, very quiet, secluded, with it's own private terrace. Would not hesitate to stay again.

We found that the room was tiny for a triple room in comparison with other Italian hotels. VERY good breakfast and attentive service, although spent most of the time hidden in a tiny room behind the desk, so the desk appeared unattended.

Very helpful desk staff. Very nice decor and our room was spacious and clean. Specially liked the jaccuzzi bath after a days walking around Verona. Very convenient for shops, arena and restuarants. A good stay.

Stayed 2 nights for an Opera visit. Good location only 5 minutes from the Arena. Excellent buffet breakfast and helpful staff

The hotel is well located in the center of Verona - ideal for visits of the Arena - and offers a good price/quality. There are less parking places, but the hotel offers a private garage (14EUR/day) nearby the hotel. We enjoyed our stay and we will book for a further visit again.

The best breakfast of our trip - hot eggs & bacon as well as cold meat, cheese, fruit & cakes. 10 minute walk to centre of town.

This hotel is part of the Best Western network. Meaning you get more stereotyped service, details and standards. It is an asset on one part. On the other, it lacks that human touch you would get in other structures. Our stay was good, finding the hotel was no problem as we knew the bus nbr from the station and more or less where to get off. Location makes it an easy starting point for visits. Altogether a good solution for those who want to avoid surprises. Price was a bit expensive, but generous breakfast is included and City center is only a few yards away.

We were a bit late down for breakfast after a late night at the opera, and they had run out of eggs and bacon. But they made two good helpings especially for us. The staff were efficient and helpful. It was a bit expensive, but Verona during the opera season is expensive, and this hotel was good value for money in the circumstances.

We were charged the same price for a double room with single occupancy and a very small single room with hardly any space to turn around in. Also the bathroom services in both rooms were very claustrophobic.

The De'Capuleti Hotel was as described, except the picture of the lobby was incorrect. Lobby has been redone. The hotel was very clean, friendly and close to the center of Verona. Only drawback hotel is located on a main street, so rooms on the front are quiet noisy.

Great location within easy walking distance to everything and good value for money. The rooms were very smokey and so were the corridors. We had to change rooms - this was OK. Breakfast very substantial. Would stay there for location but not the smoke.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. the location of the hotel is perfect for visiting all the tourists sites

A little on the expensive side, but everything in Verona seemed that way. The desk clerk was very welcoming, pointed out how to get to the sites and recommended several restaurants. It is only a ten or fifteen minute walk from all the historical places, so not bad. I felt safe walking in the area around the hotel, and the room and bathroom were very clean.
