Hotel Best Western De La Poste - Troyes

We absolutely loved staying here. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotless. The location was perfect. In the past we have stayed in two other hotels in Troyes (one cheaper, one more expensive) and De La Poste was by far the nicest in every respect.

Great place to stay in Troyes. The room was huge and bathroom excellent. A restaurant recommended to us at the reception was just around the corner and the food was great.

We have stayed at Le Champ de L'Oiseaux in Troyes before which is a 5 star - don't waste your money and stay at La Poste! I have stayed at 4 stars not as nice. The room was surprisingly large especially for France which does small rooms as a rule. Decor was modern and stylish; when we asked for tea they brought up a tray with proper china, a selection of teas and real milk in a jug to keep in the minifridge. Nice bathroom with (oh joy!) shower caps! Proper size wardrobe with loads of room for hanging and shelves. Staff were really helpful at the desk; we didn't do breakfast as there are loads of places nearby. Fabulous boulangerie/patisserie directly opposite the front door, by the way. The parking was brilliant; private, covered garage a minute's walk away. The tip to book a space is advised though as it probably only holds about 30 cars. Highly recommended.

Hotel La Poste meet our expectations for a long weekend break

A very comfortable hotel in the heart of Troyes with an excellent restaurant.

This hotel is very modern and strangely decorated. The only real fault was that the airconditioning just BARELY cooled the room. There was no BBC Primetime on the TV. Otherwise, it was a very nice hotel, but did not really live up to the 4 star rating. Breakfast was very good. It is right in the center of Troyes and it is easy to walk all around and see the old Centerville, lots of beautiful half-timbered buildings. A beautiful town and a nice hotel.

Excellent restaurant - would use again

Great location - especially if you like eating at restaurants, shopping and looking at medieval buildings. We had a bit of trouble finding the place - lots of one way roads. There were not a lot of accommodation options for families with young kids - we ended up with a room with two double beds. The bathroom was huge. However, the place has a good feel to it, and we really enjoyed our stay there. The Staff were particularly friendly to our children.

Nice enough place if not a little old fashioned in its decor. We ended up with a salon room by default where we would rather have had a normal room and paid less. Excellent patisserie across the road though.

A very nice and comfortable hotel in the center of Troyes. We appreciated our stay in this place and will be back in the same place by another time in the country.

This is an excellent hotel right in the centre of this bustling market town. My stay was very enjoyable and I highly recommend it

Loved the hotel. Excellent room and service. Roadworks outside made getting to it a little difficult but we were warned about this and it was only a minor inconvenience. Hotel very central for what we think is an underestimated city in France. Would definitly return

The hotel staff where very helpful and friendly rooms could be a bit bigger you could also have tea/coffee machine in the rooms.
