As I requested a room in the new part of the hotel I can only review a room from there. The hotel is up a side street but it is very safe. We did not have the breakfast so cannot comment on the food. We got a fantastic deal from Venere.

This is in fact a three star hotel. The labyrinth like one way narrow roads was a real pain, and it took us 1.5 hour to find the hotel despite the help of a google map. The room and bed was OK. The advantage was that it was walking distance to the main historical places to be seen.

The hotel is centrally located. Our room was facing the nice interior garden and it was quiet. But the room was small, with very small windows, so it felt dark and stuffy. And one detail: Why do they not have a toilet brush in the bathroom? There was no safe in the room.

The most unfriendly staff met us at Reception. Room wasn't ready at 2pm when we arrived even though check-in was 12pm - no apologies made. We had asked for a room with a double bed and were given the smallest room ever - Room 153. The room was located between the breakfast/bar area and an outdoor bar area and was incredibly noisy despite my request for a quiet room. Hotel is in a very convenient location and is extremely clean. Too expensive for quality of room and amenities available. Will definitely return to Seville but only to this hotel if nowhere else was available and rate was much lower.

The hotel is very nice, we enjoyed staying there. The only disappointment was that we could not park our car in the hotel's garage (it was full) and had to look for a public parking. Hotel is located in the centre of Sevilla and driving to/from the hotel is a real problem. The hotel is perfect, but I would not recommend it to those who are driving.

A pleasant hotel in a convenient location but overpriced. Our room was very small. The public areas were attractive but cold. The breakfast was too expensive for us, 15 euros, but there are several cafes nearby where you can have breakfast with the locals which is fun.

We are a young family with a 1 year old. The stay at Hotel Cervantes was amazing, welcoming and I will returning there and only stay there when staying in Sevilla. The staff were very help, accomodating even though you could see that they were very very busy. Very spacious room and all instructions passed to them very helped out. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Sevilla.

The word cramped comes to mind starting with the dinky lobby and the adjoining restaurant where on a weekday one has to sit elbow-to-elbow with fellow travellers at breakfast as many tables are placed end to end with nary an inch in-between so that you feel you're in a mess hall. English also seems like a problem with some of the people at the front desk, and the location, including the surrounding area, is not all that great either so that it was overall a disappointment.

A bit far from the historical center but very close to the shopping streets. The room was small and dark, and the bathroom tiny. We have not tested breakfast (15 euros per person). The third bed was an uncomfortable foldable bed. Could have been better, could also have been worse !

The reception staff was the worst of this hotel. It seemed that the guest was a burden for them. The hotel is very nice , the rooms are well decorated. The food is not consistent to the restaurant, that is very beatiful.I had a bad dinner. The breakfast is very expensive. The localization is only good for guests without car .Its impossible to park near the hotel, that has a very small garage, insufficient to the number of rooms.

It's in the city centre! Great, but kind of problematic if you have a car (the tiny streets are a sort of labyrinth, and you'll have to pay to leave the car in a parking place - the nearest is the CorteIngles's one)

(strade strettissime e sensi unici). Sicuramente ci sono altri hotel migliori, allo stesso prezzo.

A very nice clean hotel. The only down side to the hotel is it's about a 20 min. walk to a major landmark but it's a very pleasant walk that takes through back alleys and unique streets. It doesn't seem like 20 min at all. It was easy to keep my 10 year old son occupied while walking while showing him all the little different things along the way.

Good location. A 5 minute walk to everywhere and quieter than living in the heart of touristy Barrio Santa Cruz. But hotel itself is old and rooms are dull and dumpy (albeit clean). No wireless access in the rooms which was an inconvenience. Better accommodations with more Andalusian character could be found elsewhere in Sevilla for the same price.

A charming hotel, which has made full use of the available space within its beautiful historic buildings - perhaps too much so? Unlike previous reporters, our room was a tad small and had a window looking out to the corridor. Not a problem per se (we were on the first floor at the end of the corridor) but while sitting in one of the cool courtyards it was possible to look into ground-floor rooms. However, you could also say how good (and accessible) to step from a ground floor room into an Andalusian courtyard! The bathroom was well-equipped and pleasant. The bar service was particularly attentive & charming - slightly surprised that it stopped at 22:45hrs, though. Buffet breakfast was fine.

The hotel was fine, the rooms were clean and the service good. But for these prices the rooms were very small. The breakfast was extraordinary expensive (16€pp). And the surroundings were not very interesting (no points of intrest, few restaurants etc). Overall rather low price/quality rate.

Nice place. Expensive to those of us living in a dollar-based world, but all in all a very nice stay. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Location of the hotel was quite convenient to Sevilla's old center. Quiet and safe neighborhood. WiFi available if you go down to the second lobby. Do note that breakfast, while nice, is especially expensive, and that there are plenty of bars & cafes nearby where you can get an OK breakfast for a fraction of the price.

This was the least expensive hotel we stayed in during our trip to Spain. It was definitely a three-star hotel, but it was nice to have a relief on the pocket book. The best thing about this hotel is its excellent location and short walk to the city center. It also has beautiful courtyards. I recommend the hotel if you are looking for a good value and relatively inexpensive room.

Basically : - the hotel is fine and appropriately located for a pedestrian discovery of Sevilla by people who enjoy some walking ; - but the price (250 €/night without breakfast) is far too high given : * the limited size of the room (motel-like style, without a corridor or a lobby) ; * the limited size of the bathroom ; * toilets not separated from the bathroom ; * unavailability of a 2-persons bed (only twins) ; * somewhat noisy patio, echoing in rooms ; * not an absolutely down-town location, which might otherwise have explained the price ;

This is a very nice hotel and a great bargain. We had a great stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful and speak English very well. Very pleasant attractive hotel with courtyards, Moorish tiles, very attentive and welcoming staff, spacious comfortable room and bathroom, excellent prices except for breakfast which was Euros 10 each, standard fare and not worth the price. [However an excellent breakfast of freshly squeezed orange juice, toast and white coffees can be had at the nearby cafe-bar Santa Martha for under Euros 4 each. Cafe used by what seemed like the whole locality on their way to work.] Hotel is in an interesting area very close to the main shopping streets but across town from the main historical buildings. However strolling is the thing in Seville and we had come to relax so for us it was not a problem. We just strolled along and saw everything including getting to the top of the Giralda (cathedral bell-tower)! The location could be a problem for people with mobility problems as the streets around the hotel are cobbled streets. On the first day of arrival get a taxi from airport (Euros 23) or station (Euros 7)because dragging your cases along the cobbled twisty streets is not great. Good source of downloadable maps for Seville is www.geofactory.com . You'll need a good map in any of the main Andalucian cities. We would certainly stay in this hotel again.
