The room was generally comfortable and always clean. Location was within walking distance of major sites. The room was located at the front of the hotel over the front door and as a result was very noisy at night due to traffic, deliveries and trash pick up. Breakfast staff was delightful and very accommodating. The restaurant was always cold and uninviting. While a computer was provided for internet access, it was not useable. Front desk staff was variable in customer service.

Very small entrance street no help with luggage Steps and narrow 45 degree incline remp from street to take luggage up to lobby Female receptionist not helpful at all.Saw us struggling with luggage and sid not offer any help from hotel. Complained at having to print an 8 page email sent to me with plane boarding passes in their printer. Poor phone support and info.

It was excellent! We got the room before check in time as one was available which make our holidays longer. The customer service in the hotel was very pleasant. Best one of all hotels I had stayed in Barcelona and Valencia. Love the friendliness in Seville. I highly recommend this hotel. Plus is near to all the tourist attractions. One more thing restaurant Las Golondrinas is the best flavour tapas food I ever had. I was very happy in there!

Very good price, clean, and good staff. A bit away from the tourist area, but very quiet. It has the old charm too. The wireless is not so good in the rooms. But you can always go to the lobby.

The hotel is nice, the location lousy and the staff were arrogant. The hotel was fine but you will need to take a cab to most places in town if you don't have a car. They do have parking which is a nice benefit. I definitely wouldn't recommend the nearby Hercules Plaza as a place to go at night if you are travelling on your own and female. The hotel does offer usage of netbooks which was really helpful.

We stayed here overnight following a late flight. We booked two rooms at a bargain price and were well satisfied. As expected, the rooms were standard hotel rooms - clean, comfortable, air conditioned and with a nice bathroom. Common areas were pretty and this hotel is within reach of everywhere you want to go in Seville.

Hotel itself was OK. We arrived from Hilton Buenavista Toledo and the difference was huge. In Toledo we had nice spacious room with plenty of sun light. We had requested a quiet room at Seville but we were given a room next to reception (131) on the ground floor with a view of the street. There wasn't sufficient sun light and the lighting in the room was poor. The room was very dark all day. It is hard to believe that this was the quiet room we requested. We had a great deal for 58 EUR / night, so we knew not to expect too much. However what we got was even worse than what we were prepared for.

The hotel was good, nice spacious room and although we were on the ground floor it wasn't too noisy. We didn't spend much time in the hotel, the location was about 10-15 minute walk to the Cathedral, and on the way are a few nice areas for drinks and tapas. Most eating experiences were really good - but a couple were a bit of a disaster, which we put down to being English/non-spanish speaking. One brilliant place to visit is Lizarran right near the hotel on Javier L De La Vega. You go in, ask for a drink and they tell you to grab a plate and some cold tapas from the bar. A bit later on they start to bring round hot tapas. Each tapas has a toothpick (some larger than others) and these are counted up at the end. Each stick was around 1.2 euros and the bigger about 1.5 euros. It was a great way to try lots of things, and a really enjoyable evening. We had 17 sticks, 2 beers and 4 wines and it cost around 32 euros - brilliant!! Much better than the previous night where we had potatoes with garlic mayo x 1 to start, 1 small pizza, 1 small paella, 1 beer and 2 wines for 50 euros. The beer alone was 6 euros!! Overall Seville is a nice city - great weather for the time of year, we would go back just for the weather, but had done most of the sightseeing we wanted to do in the 3 days. I would go back to the hotel again and recommend it to others.

This was our first visit to Seville, and it won't be the last. The hotel has great character, built around a courtyard with tiled walls. The room was clean and had everything we needed other than facilities to make hot drinks. It was a couple of minutes walk to the centre of the city, ten minutes to the cathedral and Alcazares. All in all the hotel was fantastic value for money. We will try to stay there again.

The Cervantes is a lovely place to stay. It is multiple houses connected with several flower filled inner courtyards, interesting corners, a comfortable bar and cafe. Our room was tiny with not a 90 degree angle in sight, but comfortable, clean and overlooking a quiet courtyard. Finding the place by car is practically impossible as you're in the old Arab quarter with winding one way streets. Every passerby is more than willing to help you try to find it "just aroung the corner", but we'd recommend just parking either outside the city or at the public garage near Corte Ingles and just walking. Once you find the Cervantes, you'll be just a few turns off the long pedestrian route through the city and to the Alcazar and Cathedral. The Alcazar of Seville is our choice for most beautiful site in Spain -- even more lovely than Granada's Alhambra. Lots of flamenco shows - we went to Arenal and loved it.

This is in fact a three star hotel. The labyrinth like one way narrow roads was a real pain, and it took us 1.5 hour to find the hotel despite the help of a google map. The room and bed was OK. The advantage was that it was walking distance to the main historical places to be seen.

The hotel is centrally located. Our room was facing the nice interior garden and it was quiet. But the room was small, with very small windows, so it felt dark and stuffy. And one detail: Why do they not have a toilet brush in the bathroom? There was no safe in the room.

The most unfriendly staff met us at Reception. Room wasn't ready at 2pm when we arrived even though check-in was 12pm - no apologies made. We had asked for a room with a double bed and were given the smallest room ever - Room 153. The room was located between the breakfast/bar area and an outdoor bar area and was incredibly noisy despite my request for a quiet room. Hotel is in a very convenient location and is extremely clean. Too expensive for quality of room and amenities available. Will definitely return to Seville but only to this hotel if nowhere else was available and rate was much lower.

The hotel is very nice, we enjoyed staying there. The only disappointment was that we could not park our car in the hotel's garage (it was full) and had to look for a public parking. Hotel is located in the centre of Sevilla and driving to/from the hotel is a real problem. The hotel is perfect, but I would not recommend it to those who are driving.

The word cramped comes to mind starting with the dinky lobby and the adjoining restaurant where on a weekday one has to sit elbow-to-elbow with fellow travellers at breakfast as many tables are placed end to end with nary an inch in-between so that you feel you're in a mess hall. English also seems like a problem with some of the people at the front desk, and the location, including the surrounding area, is not all that great either so that it was overall a disappointment.

The reception staff was the worst of this hotel. It seemed that the guest was a burden for them. The hotel is very nice , the rooms are well decorated. The food is not consistent to the restaurant, that is very beatiful.I had a bad dinner. The breakfast is very expensive. A very nice clean hotel. The only down side to the hotel is it's about a 20 min. walk to a major landmark but it's a very pleasant walk that takes through back alleys and unique streets. It doesn't seem like 20 min at all. It was easy to keep my 10 year old son occupied while walking while showing him all the little different things along the way.

Good location. A 5 minute walk to everywhere and quieter than living in the heart of touristy Barrio Santa Cruz. But hotel itself is old and rooms are dull and dumpy (albeit clean). No wireless access in the rooms which was an inconvenience. Better accommodations with more Andalusian character could be found elsewhere in Sevilla for the same price.

A charming hotel, which has made full use of the available space within its beautiful historic buildings - perhaps too much so? Unlike previous reporters, our room was a tad small and had a window looking out to the corridor. Not a problem per se (we were on the first floor at the end of the corridor) but while sitting in one of the cool courtyards it was possible to look into ground-floor rooms. However, you could also say how good (and accessible) to step from a ground floor room into an Andalusian courtyard! The bathroom was well-equipped and pleasant. The bar service was particularly attentive & charming - slightly surprised that it stopped at 22:45hrs, though. Buffet breakfast was fine.

Nice place. Expensive to those of us living in a dollar-based world, but all in all a very nice stay. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Location of the hotel was quite convenient to Sevilla's old center. Quiet and safe neighborhood. WiFi available if you go down to the second lobby. Do note that breakfast, while nice, is especially expensive, and that there are plenty of bars & cafes nearby where you can get an OK breakfast for a fraction of the price.

First time in Seville. Htl location very good. Unfortunately the triple room availabel was at the top of the building in the terrace near to the heating equipment, with much noisy during the night. Personnel at the reception not so more friendly. Difficult to reach by car and no parking availability for a car with 2.00 meters high. Suitable and very close to the centre. Summarizing good.

The hotel is hard to find if you come by car, because it is located in a labyrint of one-way streets.

I was in Sevilla for the first time and only for one night. The Hotel was very nice and quite, a little bit out of the pedestrian area, but I had a very good and resting night there.

Molto comodi i materassi.

Excellent location. In a quiet lane next to shopping area. Close to El Corte Ingles, Zara etc,. But away from Alcazar and cathedral.
