Riassumendo ok con tariffa Venere.com no a prezzo pieno.

This was a very good value for our family of 5- we rented two rooms one triple and one double and both were clean and well appointed- also the service and the beach were both very nice- excellent for a family who wants to stay near cinque terre with the conveniences of a larger hotel

Superb place to stay in close proximity to Portofino. The hotel is a very good compared with other hotels nearby. Splendid views of the sea and the mountain. First line close to the beach.Private beach and a wonderful swimming pool on the roof of the hotel. Private parking and underground garage. Problems are; unkind staff, the small rooms, expensive internet, poor maintenance of the rooms.

The lady at Reception was wonderful. She changed our room as I was not pleased with the annexe. Your website did not clearly state where/what the Dependency Room was. I would not advise anybody to take the annexe rooms.

We were first placed in the annex building; we could not find info thereto on the website. The room would not have eben been worth two stars. Luckily, we were able to get another room in the main building.

Happy stay on the outskirts of Santa Margherita. Easy stroll into town and in the high season I imagine your own private beach terrace would be fantastic. We had a balcony which was lovely but noisy for traffic. Good value, the hotel does exactly what you want it to - you can then go and spend the money saved in the boutiques and restaurants in Portofino!

A Great Hotel in a beatyfull area. Santa Margherita is super, so is Portofino which is only 3km away. The only neagative was that we were booked for a "Double depandance" room which is not in the main hotel but in an annex building next to the main hotel and the rooms are a little small. Otherwise everything else was nice. Great breakfast also! We' ll go again!

Hotel Regina met our standards. It is so clean, brilliant views from the roof top...a bit of a walk...but worth paying a little less. A little more expensive than what we paid elsewhere in Italy, however, Santa margherita generally is dearer and in this context this was worth the money.

My daughter's single room was very small. I would not rate this hotel as a four star. The hotel provides coffee/tea making facilities in the room, upon request. We had to ask twice for this: the cups provided were polystyrene --not what I expect in a 4 star hotel.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Regina Elena. We were delayed by a train strike until late in the evening on the day of arrival and called to inform the desk. When we came in, the hotel staff informed us that they had upgraded our room to one with a bay view balcony in the main facility. The breakfast buffet was very nice and offered many choices. Although we didn't use the beach or pool facilities, they looked very attractive. Santa Maria Ligure is a wonderful town to spend a couple of days and this hotel is very pleasant. The bus to Portofino stops right by it and the main part of town is a 10 minute walk away. Many hotels do not have their own beach facilities, so that was a plus for this hote. However, this hotel is far from the train station and not right in the center of town, so if that is more important to you, another hotel might be better.

Hotel was easy to find with GPS, we booked the room in the dependance, much cheaper but very small. Breakfast was ok, but the plastic tables and chairs outside tasteless for a 4 star hotel. Reception staff friendly and supportive. Internet only accessible by coupons of 5€ per 30 min, that's not acceptable, it should be free. Easy to go to the beach which is very clean. As everything on the Riviera it's expensive. Avoid to take a taxi, we ordered one and they charged 35€ for a 4 km trip which took 8 min, apparently normal. Excellent automatic garage with storage wich works very well.

This was our first stay in Santa Margarita and at the Regina Elena the hotel was bigger than we expected but that was not a problem. WE had a lovely sea view from our window the only downfall was that we had no balcony although some rooms did.THe HOtel is on the outskirts of the town towards Portofino the local bus stops right outside so access to portofino is easy. It is a nice 20 minute stroll into the town centre where there are some fabulous fish restaurants.THe brekfast in the hotel is varied and plentiful if we return to the area again we would certainly stay again. We also met a chap travelling on his own and staying there he was also happy with the hotel

We were obliged to rent two rooms as we have 3 children so the price was way more than we would have liked, however, the hotel was wonderful, the pool on the roof, even though it closed quite early, 19:30, had heavenly views of the area. The beach towels are free but you must pay for a beach chair if you use their beach access. That alone cost about 15.00USD per day.

Quite a nice hotel with underpassage to the beach. Unfortunately there are no single rooms with sea view. Beach opens only at 8 a.m. if you want to swim under the moonlight or before the breakfast you have to go to the "beach" composed only of stones not far from hotel. In general quite a nice hotel but a bit expensive.

Great location if you are a beach goer during beach season. That's what we were there for so the private beach and close proximity to public beach access was optimal. It was a bit of a walk to where most of the resturants and bars were located. A fair trade if you are there for the beach. Staff was good and rooms were nice. Bath was of good size for Italy. Best place I saw in SML for hanging out at hte beach.

Having just stayed in wonderful 4 star hotels in Venice & Florence, this 4 star did not compare, but I must explain. First of all, I suspect seaside and city '4 star' standards may differ. The rooms we were originally given were on the side of the hotel with limited sea views and were very small. When I spoke to the front desk, ocean-front rooms were available just steps away on the same floor, in fact we were swithed into adjoining rooms with a common door between the rooms - ideal. Each had ocean front decks with table and chairs (including a lounge). Very nice. In hindsight, I realize that I had specified one double bedded room and one twin bedded room - and in turns out twins were not available in the ocean front rooms. So, in meeting the 'letter of my request', the original rooms were given. Be careful what you ask/don't ask for! Unfortunately, the rooftop solarium, although advertised as being open rear round, was closed. It was explained that this is because the pool was empty and to avoid a safety problem. These problems behind us, we enjoyed the hotel. Santa Margherita is a gorgeous hillside city overlooking the harbor & sea. Very nice character. Shopping was ok, a fairly wide range of shops & resataurants as well. It was still a bit quiet with many places not open; we were told the weather had been cold and.... just 4 km further was lovely Portofino, a wonderful place for a couple (we left the kids behind); we really enjoyed being in this very charming, small harbor village.

I booked a single and was allocated a very sad little room overlooking the back of the hotel. The bedroom needed refurbishment and was very small. The bathroom, however, had been refurbished and was clean. The corridors were always littered with cleaning detritus. There is a very small pool on the roof with great views of the coast and currounding hills - wooden decking,Mediterranean plants, good sunbeds, free towels - very pleasant. Only had breakfast in the hotel - not a bad selection but rather "institutionalised".

It's a great hotel at a wonderful location. The rooms and especially the bathrooms are very spacious for European standards. The pool and spa and the roof are also very nice on a hot day. The hotel offers wonderful views and is a nice walking distance to the main town. Great Honeymoon Hotel!!!
