Very good breakfast, nice room, everything fine, with these exceptions. Gym room was inactive (too few clients, they said - it is a stupid justification for me: if they are open, they must have all facilities working, otherwise they can close). In the lobby near the restaurant, a special diner was advertised apparently at low price on a big panel with large characters. However, when we went at the restaurant, we discovered that the price of that diner was another, obviously bigger, while the low-cost diner was just a standard one. When we terminated the diner, we read again carefully the panel and we noticed that in effect it was written: special diner, and diner at low price. So it was in effect correct, but written in a way that caused confusion. I suggest to specify clearly. I do not complain the price (we choose the special diner, and food was excellent), but I would like to know it exactly at the moment of the choice, otherwise I feel circumvented.

The room was minute, really more suitable for 1 person. Airco was suddenly switched off halfway our stay, but turned on again when we complained the next day. No trains to Verona, though promised in reviews.

We stayed 5 nights in this lovely hotel. Recent renovations have improved this hotel far beyond our expectations based on the photographs. The location in the Soave area is fantastic with a short drive to many interesting places and the lovely Verona 20 kms away. We travelled as a group one room was large and one was typically European small. Breakfast was fantastic and the Restaurant meals excellent. An extremely good value for money hotel

The inside of the hotel was great and detracts from the locality which is at the end of the town near railway and main road. That aside the inside was fantastic for its rating and compared with the price very cheap. Near to local train station connects direct to Venice. Easy cheap alternative to get to Venice. Local Soave quaint town famous for vineyards.

A very beautiful hotel with excellent staff and service, very nice rooms and facilities. The pool is a definite plus for families. It's not in a very "pretty" location, located right off the highway. Also the sound of a nearby trains was a little bit of a surprise, but the overall value and comfort of the hotel more than made up for that.

Perfect place to stay! After a heavy trip by cars from France it was a real pleasure to find this hotel. We were 3 families, with 5 children from 5 to 16 years, but this stay was a pleasure for all of us. Clean rooms, professional services, swimming pool, good breakfast - on a reasonable price. There is a new building just next to the hotel, still in construction, and the railway is pretty close – when you are in the garden you can hear how the trains are passing. But even those things are not able to destroy our perfect impressions.

Somewhat "americanized" accommodations, but a good value and friendly service. Rooms were plenty spacious and comfortable. A little out of the way from Verona and Vicenza, but not a bad drive. The internet access did not work at first, but the gentleman was helpful in getting it working.

The hotel is in an unpretentious setting but this is more than made up for by its overall quality, its fabulous breakfasts and the service and offerings at the hotel's restaurant, La Cantinetta. It is a great base for travel by rail to the cities and towns of the Veneto and Lombardy. Many fast trains stop at San Bonifacio and Verona is only about 20 minutes away. Tip: to get to the hotel turn left when you leave the station and walk up the road past the parked cars until you reach the sottopassaggio under the rail line; go under it and then up the street; you can see one of the entrances to the hotel on the left. It is a short walk of about 200 metres.

The hotel is about 15 minutes drive from Verona. You can take the train which is located 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The rooms are nice and the breakfast is great. We only had one problem. Lights didn't work in our room so they moved us to a smaller room. No worries, I always stay at this hotel when I go to Verona.

We were surprised by the real hospitality of the staff. Quit welcoming first impression from a people point of view. The hotel surrounding is not that amazing, but that was as expected due to description and comments. Can recommend to stay there, if you don't want to stay the whole day long in the hotel or San Bonifacio. If you want to start your daily trips from the hotel, than it is ideal (enough parking capacity, close to the railway, good location from distance point of view to verona, vicenza, ...) Breakfast is great! Would definitly choose the hotel again.

Staff wa great and very helpful and friendly.Quality of breakfast and happy hour munchies was excellent. They also had complementary wine at happy hour. Location was very difficult to find. There were a few nice restaurants at Soave, a town only 2-3 kilometers away, specially Gamberi. Although this appears to be a newer hotel, the exterior had scafolding which did not go down well at the approach. However every thing else was excellent so we were very happy with our stay.

We only spent one night at the hotel but it was great! I would sure recommend it to people who want to explore the whole Veneto Region (Verona, Venice, Soave etc.) and need a nice and inexpensive hotel. The staff was very nice and the room very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was among the best I have ever seen in Italy! The breakfast buffet also was superb. They had everything! From continental breakfast to even salad and fried vegetables and smashed eggs. And it all tasted superb! I give this hotel a superb rating and can highly recommend it!

This was the best and the cheapest hotel we had during our 2 weeks trip to Italy this summer. Location of the hotel is great for people who drive by car, it's a good place to stay on the way from Verona to Venice. We had wonderful stay there, beautiful, clean room and delicious breakfast next morning. Breakfast buffet was definetelly 5 star! Compering with other hotels I would give this one at leat 4 star. The railroad is behind the hotel so you can hear trains passing by at night. However it doesn't bother if you are tired after sightseeing in Verona. Highly recommended!

A perfectly fine property, but close to noisy railway tracks, and not near anything at all, really. Dining room open only to residents, with a limited menu and meals that were a bit better than adequate. On the other hand, for 49 euros, it was a bargain.

We found that this hotel was ideal for our weekend trip to Verona and Padua as it is situated midway between the two cities, right off of the autostrade. The prices are amazingly low - especially as compared to the prices in Verona and Padua! The room was fine, the breakfast more than ample, and the hotel also offered free internet usage in the lobby. We also ate dinner in the hotel restaurant; although the service was exceedingly slow, the food was good and the prices, again, very very reasonable.
