Maid service and reception = excellent and very helpful and charming people. The Dining room however was a disgrace. The coffee was cold, the waiters were so slow and useless and the breakfast was boring, unimaginative (even the apples were brown inside. Trying to get toast for 2 = 1 piece of white bread arrived at least 20 minutes of ordering. Really very upsetting as the Hotel is charming and we fell in love with Salzburg.

Fabulous! Everything about this hotel was excellent. Location great especially if you don't mind the lovely sound of the church bells and chatter of people in the restaurants below. Reception staff very welcoming. Breakfast is superb. Would recommend to anyone.

Lovely Hotel right in the middle of Salzburg and close to main attractions. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Free internet was fast/good. Nice restaurant within the hotel. Wonderful breakfast spread. Good heating provided for winter. Nice elegant classic decor everywhere. Modern amenities like auto-on/off tap for the basin is a plus. Only mild dissatisfaction was with the dusty room flooring.
