877-662-6988The hotel has been renovated in 2002 in a classic style. Mahogany, marble, large leather armchairs and elegant wooden furnishings make up the new decor of the whole premises.
A bar is available in the lobby, featuring comfortable sofas and chairs, ideal for an aperitif or a night cap and a pool table is also available.

Parking is off a pedistrian zone street and possibly down an elevator. Large vehicles will have issues. Rooms get warm. Good location for walking historic old section of town and close to restaurants.

A very good standard of hotel for the money, in a great location for the shops, restaurants, and the cathedral.

This was not an easy place to find, our GPS could not locate it, apparantly Rue de la Pie (the address given) does not exist on a map. Once found, the location was perfect, easy access to restaurants, shopping and historic sights. The room was very small but clean,it could use some updating. The bar only had a choice of about five liquors but it was small and comfortable.

Location is excellent for walking about historic Rouen. Mattress sagged and springs protruded. When we tried to open the window in the morning the entire window frame became detached.

Very well located for the old town sites and restaurants. Good parking facilities for modestly priced, central hotel. Quite well signposted, but it helps to realise that you do have to drive down a road marked as part of pedestrian area; drive past front of hotel then first right and then right again to enter carpark at rear of hotel (about 150 uards/metres all told).

The hotel is within easy walking distance of all the major tourist attractions and some excellent restaurants. This was the main reason for us choosing it. Despite being in the city centre the hotel was easy to find and having onsite parking was a real bonus. The hotel's underground car park is accessed via a lift, which was daunting at first but we soon got use to it. There is a charge, but what price convenience? All the staff where very helpful, for example when we asked if they could recommend a bookshop, they provided us with both a name and a map. The charge of 13 euros for breakfast at first seemed expensive, but it was a buffet where you could eat as much as you like. If you did not want to eat in there are plenty of nearby cafes.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was shorter than i would have liked, but it was perfect for what i wanted. The rooms, although a little small, were beautiful and exactly as shown on the internet. The view was perfect, Notre Dame was in our day and night skyline, with old buildings in our foreground.....veryromantic.

A mid-price hotel with mid-price features - smallish, very ordinary but clean rooms. Plus point is its location and parking facilities - right in middle of old town. Minus is the majority of front of house staff, who really could not be bothered. Costs nothing to smile yet smiles were few and far between. We were lucky and got our room straight away (arriving at about 4pm) although we'd booked a non-smoking room and were given a smoking one. Two other couples had been hanging around for 2 hours already as housekeeping could not turn round the rooms in reasonable time, so we took what we could get! The (only) lift was broken so it was hard to get luggage up and down the stairs - presumably only a temporary problem. At the end of the day you get what you pay for, but it would've been a much better experience if staff were more friendly and helpful.

Great location although some people may find the car lift to the underground garage quite challenging! Very central for bars and restaurants.

I have particularly positive things to say about this hotel. Firstly it is right in the historic centre and central to everything. Also they have a parking garage which is splendid as parking is difficult in medieval lay-out towns. There are plenty of options for dinner and the Jeanne d'Arc memorial is just outside the door. We met my parents here on the first day of a joint trip and they arrived 5 hours earlier and checked in. When we arrived and I was shown our room, which was beside my parents, my first thought was that my 6 foot 3 inch husband would not fit in the bed which was clearly between a single and a double. I went right to the desk and asked if there was a roome with a bigger bed. With no problems they moved us right away into a much better room with a bigger bed and a beautiful view - I suspect a much more expensive room though they did not charge us anymore. I must say my parents had a normal double/queen bed. The initial room we were given was set up as a wheel-chair access room which I think explains the smaller bed - to allow more space in the room from which to access the bed. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic - a great buffet with lots of options. Often in Normandie breakfast will be croissants, baguette, yogurt, jam and coffee/hot chocolate.

We had not been to Rouen for many years. The hotel is brilliantly located for visiting many of the most interesting places in this historic city. We had a very enjoyable short break and would recommend the hotel, city and region.

The hotel is situated just off the main tourist square and is in an ideal situation. The square also has a number of good restaurants and bars serving quite late and to a high standard. The hotel has its own safe parking which is a blessing in this busy city. We thought that all receptionists were a credit to the company and would certainly book again.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Breakfast was not included in the price, but didn't look very appetising. We bought bread and croissants from the local bakers & fruit from the market. Our room & bathroom were extremely small. The bathroom had some damage; it could do with renovating.

An excellent position, right in the centre of Rouen. Staff are helpful and friendly. Rooms, decor, etc, all fine - rooms need a proper dusting though! Car parking charges seem very reasonable, but charges for breakfast are very high. Otherwise a good venue.

We couldn't have asked for a better location the staff were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely return to the hotel on another visit. They did have a problem with their underground garage lift so it was out of use at the time.

Although we had a good time in Rouen, and the hotel was basically vey nice, there were some flaws in the quality of the room. In the bathroom, the paint was peeling off the ceiling, a bulb needed replacing and the shower handset could not be attached to the wall because of a broken fitting. I reported these at the time. Also, although it was a double room, there was only one extra pillow provided.

The most perfectly located hotel in Rouen. Clean, comfortable, quiet and a good breakfast. Rooms just about big enough - all in all highly recommended (as is the booking system).
