Best Western Hotel Villafranca - Rome

A small but clean room. Hotel in very good position (5' walk from Termini Station and subway) .

Stayed at this property with my daughter, son-in-law and 4 grandchildren. Rooms were clean and larger than expected. Located near Termini station in a good area of Rome walking distance to many family-friendly restaurants and tourist sites. Grocery store 2 blocks away. Breakfast room bright and clean with fantastic variety of food and beverage. Would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again on a return trip. BW Hotel Villafranca definitely met our expectations.

Nice hotel, good service. The breakfastarea was somewhat too small and a bit too noisy. The public area could be better. It was apart from this a nice a quiet stay at this hotel and we really loved Rome. Love to come bac.

Very welcoming and prepared staff. Helpful and ready to solve any problem. The hotel is 100 m from metro station and 10 min walk from Termini. In a very quiet street. We had a great stay! I suggest it...

Hotel Villafranca is a nice hotel. Close to Termini and, therefore, all public transportation, but far enough away to be removed from the noise and traffic of downtown. Breakfast was awesome- eggs, bacon, breads, yogurt, cereal, etc. The staff were courteous and helpful. The triple room we had was like a suite- living room with a bed, mini-kitchen!- full bedroom, bathroom and hallway with a huge closet. Everything was brand new, tile floor and spotless. Complaints- the room we were given had a brand new air conditioner that did not work. Since it was Sunday there was no way to fix it. When we returned Monday from a full day of sight-seeing in HOT weather, it still wasnt' fixed. At that point, we were moved to another room. The internet is not included (no wi-fi).

There are TWO kind of rooms. New rooms and old rooms but customer discover it only after registration (unfortunately I've had an old room !!!).

Villafranca was clean, staff very friendly and helpful. The website shows an accurate map that helped us find the hotel on foot, however it states "Centrally located ! 300 Mts from main railroad Termini Station". The hotel is in fact 6 blocks from station - a pleasant walk for younger travellers like ourselves - but perhaps a little misleading. The "300 mtrs" quote may also put customers off who might think the hotel would be noisy so close to the station. The hotel was also under renovation (which we were advised by the hotel via email). This meant walking 6 floors of stairs (which the email did not specify). While this was of no concern to us - older or less able-bodied travellers would have been inconvenienced. Very pleasant stay.

A very nice quite hotel, but a bit outside the 'hot areas' in Rome. It is located in a narrow road close to the termini, but the traffic noise was kept to a minimum. The breakfast served was excellent compared to ordinary Italian standard.

I stayed here a year ago as well. This time the staff seemed to recognize me- had a room with a balcony the second time. I enjoyed the breakfast area
