Excellent location and beautiful views from the breakfast lounge. Room was very good but looked out onto an internal courtyard so was a bit dark. Pool on top floor was excellent and overall the hotel was really enjoyable.

Excellent location, perhaps the best at Riva. Good size rooms with amazing views to the harbour. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Free wi-fi.Free bikes. Truly a great hotel with welcoming staff!!!!

Perfect location. Fantastic view of the harbor and lake. Terrace would have been great for meals if the meals had been of better quality. Breakfast was a disappointment. Lobby/public areas were sterile and sparsely furnished. Not much personality or charm. Rooms likewise. But there was secure parking and staff was professional.

Our seventh stay in Riva - all at different hotels from 3 to 5 star.Unfortunately we are often beset with coach tours of English mature persons who have somewhat limited views on accepting local customs, culture, food etc and this was the case here. staff coped well and we despaired before they did! As experienced italiaphiles, speaking the language, we often get 'collared' by these types for advise and an airing of their misguided views. Our experience may suffer in such venues but not at the fault of the hotel and if we wish to enjoy a favourite destination ......!

Great hotel, very well located, we enjoyed our stay very much. One comment: considering the rates, we would expect free wireless Internet service (instead, it costs 3 euros per hour).

First time in Riva del Garda and we were very impressed. Lovely town with lots of restaurants and things to do-especially water sports. Small beach area too where you can go in water. Hotel was ideally located in main square of the town, with amazing views of lake and mountains (if you pay extra for lake view). Quiet in room (as windows very good) but pubs are below hotel, we watched a mini concert and fireworks from our balcony. Hotel pool was lovely on roof with amazing views, hired bikes from hotel which was great, and receptionist was very very helpful. Loved it and will go back.

terrible parking problem; the staff is not very good or very nice. the rooms however are fine, and the overall experience not too bad.

Good location with lovely terrace breakfast room. room OK, but it was at the back and there was building workers making quiet a bit of noise while we there. Staff help was very good and rooms clean.

location was great, but this was the most expensive place we stayed on our trip and it was the most dissapointing. very boring and dark room with no view.

There is some noise from the square and the Boats, but if you want a room overlooking these you have to put up with the small amount of noise. The same can be said for the size of the rooms, they may be smaller than modern hotels but they are a good size for a hotel of this age and loation.

Rather an expensive hotel, but straight in the middle of the City, with a stunning view over the city center and the lake. The rooms with the view can however sometime have some noise from that same city center. Right under the windows there are bars etc.. Cheerfull and compentent personnel, great breakfast.

Nice location, parking (up to 12 places), very nice breakfast area. The room was quite small, the view on the lake comes at an extra charge. Friendly stuff and decent offer for breakfast.

The location of this hotel is amazing. We'd a small wooden tree house style balcony overlooking the lake, sqaure and mountains. Breakfast was good. Bathroom had a bath which was great. Highly recommend the hotel

Room was ok, clean and tidy, but quite small for 2 people. View was great overlooking the lake (3rd Floor) and as we were on the same floor as the small pool and sundeck it was a good location. Breakfast was adequate and we did originally sign up for half board, however after 2 evening meals we decided to do B&B as there were many good local well priced restaurants. And to be honest the hotel food wasn't impressive. The staff were friendly enough but always rushing around. The position of the hotel was great as ferry's to all over the lake went from just outside which meant we didn't have to drive. You need to buy your ticket before at the office which is on the quayside. One annoying thing was that the town bell rang on the hour, quarter of an hour and half an hour from 7am to 11am. However we very quickly got used to this and with the windows closed didn't hear it first thing in the morning. We would stay at the hotel again but definately go B&B as the local restaurants were good.

The Hotel is nice, clean and very good located but maybe a little too expensive and the rooms are really clairaudient. Nevertheless all in all we enjoyed our stay there.

The employees from the breakfast have been very nice and kind, the employees from the reception are not very friendly during all the stay.

Fine hotel at a perfect location. Breakfast and dining 'outside' with view on the square and port is really great. Only the parking facilities can be a problem.

Fabulous location right on the main piazza - probably the restaurant with the best view i Riva. Small parking, but by giving over the key, the hotel organiszed it all. Ok roms, but nothing special.

First time at Best Western Europa and Riva del Garda. The hotel was in an excellent position at the harbour in the old town and next to all the shopping and resturaunts. Wonderful scenery looking down the lake and the boat trips to Limone and Malcesine are a must. I would highly recommend both the hotel and the resort.

A very enjoyable stay in a spacious clean room, with all facilities as advertised and that we required. We opted for half board and enjoyed the food and service. Excellent value for money, good position in Riva, which we also found to be an excellent location.
