In general the hotel is good, but the lobby is horrible and sad. The relation price/quality is too hight.

Despite a request one month in advance for a sunny room on a high floor, we were assigned a dark, tiny, corner room on the bottom floor. The unpleasant evening desk clerk insisted no other rooms were available and only relented when we demanded to speak to a manager. Our next room on the third floor was much larger and much brighter. Despite non smoking room, "clean" towels delivered daily reeked of cigarette smoke. The common areas appeared worn and neglected except for the breakfast room which was bright and comfortable with excellent, enthusiastic servers. The food quality was mediocre.

Very good reception and informations about the city at the front desk. Good service in booking shows or taxi reservation. Breakfast service shoud be improved, enlarging the space of the room as well as the quality and variety of the food (fruit, cakes, croisants,...).

This was our first time in Prague. We like the location very much and were lucky to have a room facing the courtyard with a piano in it! The room was kept clean but the carpet was very worn and spotted. The computer needs to be moved so that meetings in the little conference room don't conflict with the availability of the computer. The day staff at the front desk were much friendlier and more competent than the night clerk. It's a rip off to charge by the hour for the health facility--maybe an additional $10-20 and you have use for 24 hours. Breakfast buffet was nice. OVerall a good location and decent cost.

How to reach Best Western Hotel Meteor Plaza
By car
From the border cross Rozvadov: continue on highway E50 direction Plzen, where the highway is interrupted. In Plzen follow signs Praha (Prague), they will conduct you to the Highway E50 again, direction Praha. After getting near Praha, follow signs to Centrum. Entering the city centre go on street Plzenska, which changes its name into Kartouzska after passing hotel Mövenpick. Kartouzska Street brings you to the riverbank. Cross the river and continue straight on Resslova street, which changes to Jecna after a while. At a big cross road of Jecna/Legerova, streets turn left into Legerova. At the first exit after Prague Main Train Station go right and underpass the highway. Now you are at crossing Ubulhara, go straight through Senovazne Namesti into Senovazna street. Turn right to Dlazdena street and then take first right directly to Hybernska street. The Hotel is located on the right side 100 metres from the corner.
From Prague airport: exit the airport towards the city centre, following signs to Centrum and Ostatni Tranzit. After crossing the Vltava River, take the second exit - direction to Centrum. At the crossing with U Bulhara, go straight through Senovazne Namesti into Senovazna Street. Turn right to Dlazdena Street and take the first right to Hybernska street.

arrival (deadline 6PM). In case of no show or in case of
cancellation a day prior arrival or later the amount eq. to
the price of the 1st night accommodation will be charged.
