Good location and friendly staff. A good choice and excellent relationship price quality. Four stars is a bit exagerated. Rooms are a bit old but more than acceptable, the only negative point is the bad smell you feel each tme you enter the room.

Breakfast was a delight. The hotel was initially hard to find for us, and maybe the immediate surrounding blocks weren't the most exciting of places, but most sights were a quick stroll away. Staff were nice.

Very helpful staff at check in. We were given a map and guidance of how to get to places of interest. Room was clean and cleaned every day. Breakfast was great, a good selection to suit everybody, it really set you up for the day ahead.

The hotel was in a very convenient location and was quiet and comfortable, though probably it did not fit the four star rating. Some of the bathroom fixtures could be improved. Also I believed from the webpage that the internet was free for the first 10 minutes, but I learned that was only true if you had your own laptop. We also didn't realize you had to pay for parking in the public lot during the day.

Not quite 4-star anymore. However still worth the price (65Euro/double): Old rooms, but clean. Good breakfast buffet and very friendly staff.

I am very happy with this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is GREAT!!! Good location - 3 minutes walk from the tourist office, and about 10 to 15 minutes walk to the old town. The room is kind of small for a 4-star hotel, but it's clean and cozy. I would definitely go back to this hotel.

We ask in the bookingmail: a quiet and calm the room. Our Room overlooks a noisy street and it was imposible to change. The hotel is near the subway station Trindade when we arrive from the aeroport and near to a other station" Aliados" when we go down to the old down town.

When we arrived (high season), they were replacing all the locks of the doors and the air-conditioning units. The place was a mess, very dusty and noisy. The room was not clean and they left exposed electric wire without replacing the air-conditioning unit. We had to change 3 rooms (in 3 days) before we actually got something decent. Anyway on overall the hotel is absolutely overrated. The furniture and the rooms in general are old, the paint is fading away and it badly smells mouldy. No way this is a 4-star hotel, maybe 3 (at the most), and not at all a Best Western hotel. The only good point is the cordiality of the personnel, who really tried to solve all the issues they are surrounded with...

The hotel was very good value for money: clean, comfortable room, not too far from the centre, nice breakfast, friendly and professional staff. Unfortunately during the 3 nights we stayed, there were whole groups of people shouting in the corridors at any time of the night, and it lasted for ages. This partially ruined our stay. Otherwise it would have been perfect.

Good place to stay. Not a 4 star place, more like 2.5 or 3 star for the bedroom/bathroom, but clean and quiet. Breakfast was the big plus - lots of variety, hot food, fruit, etc on top of the normal cereals and bread with cheese and meat selection (ham, salami, etc).

The location of the hotel is excellent, very close to the touristic sites and the metro station. Everithing is real good, except the air conditioning that did not work well. Since it was not so cold, this was no problem for us.

Hi, VERY IMPORTANT, my comments about the service of the hotel are for an other etablisment: the Bessa Hotel, street Dr Marques de Carvalho, 111. Why ? because When I arrived at the hotel Inca at 20.30, my room was not available. And the manager of the hotel sent me to an other hotel with the same level. So, with the same price, and they take in charge the cost of the taxi between the two hotel. So, as the new hotel was better, the inconvenient has been weak. But, I think the big problem is, as I arrived in the evening, my room has been given to other people. But I called the hotel two time few days before to inform my arrival timing. This point is very BAD because it was the same thing in other hotel. I think You take this point to assure a better selection of yours hotels. Regards Cédric Chaubin

Very nice breakfast. The staff was there waiting for us with our paperwork all ready. They also directed us to places to eat and showed us how to get back to town walking. The hotel is on a hill, but only about 20 minutes from the river and a very nice walk. We enjoyed our stay here. The facilities were clean and modern.

Cost was very reasonable considering the location (near Porto center), size of room (large compared to the Grande Hotel do Porto where I also stayed). Breakfast was a bit limited in selection and breakfast room a bit small. However adequate considering the room cost. Only major quibble was lack of good internet access access. It was free but only if you sat in the front room of the bar which was busy in the evening and smoky.

Bad luck for us, the hotel was under renovation during our stay so very noisy ! They asked us to change room in the middle of our stay and the second room was not as well as the first one (bad quality of bed, smaller) . Let's say that if we had stay in the same room for the whole stay, my rating would have been better . Anyway good place to be for 55 Euros/night. Nice breakfast and good location .

Staff was very friendly and accomodating. The hotel was a great deal for 50 euros, large room, very comfortable. Now, it is a bit of a hike to the tourist port area. About a 25 minute walk. That is when you are going downhill. Uphill on return is another issue. Still, this is a small price to pay for a good hotel. The square it is in is unimpressive as is the section of town, but it is a lot cleaner and safer looking than a lot of the tourist area on the waterfront. I would've given a 10 to the service and facilities offered, but there is just one computer for internet access, and no wifi. Sorry, but this is not acceptable these days. There is a low priced cyber cafe at the foot of the main square Praca Liberade, right hand side.

This is the second visit to the hotel. The staff are charming and helpful at all times. The location is ideal for any group being near enough to shops and easy walking distance from restaurants and bars. Public transport is only a short walk away. The breakfast offered is plentiful with ample choice. My only desire would be to have tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

The stay at this hotel was pleasant and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfasts were excellent. The only "gripe" was that there was no restaurant for an evening meal despite having originally been advertised as such (we were told later that this was due to renovations in the dining area , although we saw no signs of this).

Overall good value for money and in a good location. Staff were friendly and helpful. A cot was supplied for our baby, but was a little small allowing her to climb out. Excellent breakfast. Cable tv, minibar and safe were all in the room. I didn't check it out but apparently the hotel has a good internet service. On the downside the rooms looked a bit dated and the bath well used and on the small side. The room was also really cold when we arrived. The lifts are small and old fashioned, and can be dangerous for children as they don't have doors that travel with the lift. My main annoyance though is that the free courtesy bus did not meet us, especially as we had had no sleep for 26 hours and we had a baby with us. The receptionist had already confirmed it, but then sent another message asking me to reconfirm the day before. We didn't get this because we were already on our way. I would not rely on their bus. It is better to get the Airport bus for Euro4 which will drop you at the doorstep, and then you can use Porto public transport free for the rest of the day.
