Hotel Best Western Opéra Grands Boulevards - Paris

The room was small but very clean and comfortable. Excellent location--better than expected-- very close to 3 different metro lines, with an easy walk from Gare du Nord, making it an easy trip from/to CDG. Excellent breakfast, well worth the price. We stayed 6 nights and would return again. Staff most helpful.

This hotel is close to the Gare de l'Est which is great if you are arriving there (15 min. walking distance). It is right in the heart of the multicultural area of Grands Boulevards. If you want to experience the typical Parisian café atmosphere and enjoy international foods this is the place to start. It is not crowded with tourists, but close to the metro which will take you to all the great sights. for shopping, the Galleries Lafayettes are within 15 min. walking distance. This art nouveau department store is really worth a trip. the hotel is clean and nice, hosting non-smoking rooms if desired. the staff is welcoming and very helpful. Finding a clean hostel in Paris can be very hard which is why I opt for hotels in this city. And I'd go back anytime.

Very good value, the room was very charming and quiet and we could see the Sacré Coeur from the window. The metro station is only a few minutes walk. I strongly recommend this hotel!

I stayed with my family for 3 nights and enjoed my journey in Paris The hotel staff was very friendly, the hotel is located in a central area, close to the underground and many shops, restaurants... I would surely come back thank you for your assistance

The location is bad, the surroundings are horrible and there is no insider tips for Paris close to hotel, only gare du nord at 8 blocks!

Closest metro is Bon Nouvelle which is a few big blocks away making the hotel initially a bit hard to find. Apparently there are 63 Best Western hotels in Paris (who knew). The hotel itself is clean and decent. The rooms and bathroom are adequate, Just be sure to get a room away from the street, as there is lots of noise at night.

Hotel was Ok for the price paid.

This was the first time I have ever stayed at Hotel Best Western Opera Grands Boulevards, and first time in a Best Western Hotel. I don't think it was a purpose built hotel, and the room I stayed in was rather small for a 3 star hotel. I didn't have breakfast, although my travelling companions rated it as mediocre. I like all hotel breakfasts, though. The bathroom was lovely and clean; bedlinen fresh, bed was comfortable; the reception staff were friendly,cheerful and welcoming. For a place to stay it is fine, but not quite up to 3 star standard in my experence.

Stayed for three nights at the end of june, if you are in paris just for a weekend this is not a bad hotel. only a mile from the guard du nord and very easy to find, if you have very little luggage it's probably as quick to walk from the station as get a taxi. the room was not very large but it was adequate for my wife and i. the room was clean and tidy and and the maids came in every morning to keep it that way. breakfast is available but overpriced at 12 euros each as the same thing can be purchased in any of the nearby cafes for half the price. the area of paris the hotel is in is not the most upmarket but if you like exploring in your own way you can and we never felt any worries. make sure you get a street map though as there are lots of identical streets in the area.

This hotel and room were perfect for us. The rooms are not huge, but adequate. The bathroom was splendid. Clean, up to date and plenty of hot water. I highly recommend this hotel. (Also had an excellent breakfast in a lovely space in the basement) It is a ten minute walk to Chartier Restaurant and close to Gare de Nord.

Ideal hotel for a short stay in Paris, good location and yet away from the noise.

It was a perfect small hotel, about 3mins walk from a metro station, and from there about 12mins into the centre of paris. the room was small but clean as was the ensuite, it was very quiet when i stayed there in late november

Se la camera è troppo piccola, e ci provano a rifilare camere piccole, chiedete di cambiarla, sono moto disponibili ed in genere non fanno problemi. tutto sommato delle belle camere ed un buon servizio. Ci tornerei.

The room was small as expected - which is not the major problem. But going to our room itself is - having to snake our way to the small passage hall.

Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen und sehr gut erreichbar. In nicht einmal 5 Minuten ist man am Grands Boulevard und an der nächsten Metro Station. Wir haben für das Doppelzimmer 70-72 EUR pro Nacht bezahlt was in unseren Augen ein sehr guter Preis war. Einziger kleiner Makel war ein Bild, welches zum damaligen Zeitpunkt über dem Bett gefehlt hat. Wir hatten das Zimmer ohne Frühstück gebucht, was jedoch in Paris kein Problem darstellt, da man direkt am Grands Boulevard gut und günstig frühstücken kann. Die Zimmer waren zwar klein, aber von der Größe für einen Städtetrip vollkommen in Ordnung. Das Badezimmer war sauber und gut eingerichtet. Wir fahren gerne wieder nach Paris und dieses Hotel würden wir zu diesem Preis immer wieder aufsuchen.

Walls of rooms are very thin so is it possible that you listen very well your neighbours

VERY NICE STAY. ROOMS ARE SPACIOUS VS OTHER ROOMS IN PARIS. MY PARENTS GOT A TRIPLE ROOM IT WAS THE SIZE OF TWO DOUBLE ROOMS! BATHROOMS VERY CLEAN AND SPACIOUS. THREE BLOCKS FROM THE METRO STATION, 10 MIN WALK TO GARE DU NORD.

Previous rating doesn't seem to have registered. Essentially, crummy neighborhood a problem. (Not the "OK I guess" hotel itself). Every morning, got out of the neighborhood as fast as I could.

I was travelling with 2 disabled travellers - the hotel was supposed to be wheelchair accessible but there was a big step into the hotel. Apart from that the rest of the facilities were very good.
