In quiet street, alongside several similar hotels, very close to metro(cadet) and a 10 min.stroll to gal'lafayette, simple journey by metro to gare du l'est and on to gare du nord.A simple coat rack would have been useful as wardrobe quite small.Staff pleasant and helpful as were many people we met (offering their seat to my wife on metro)etc. Breakfast area fine however thought breakfast expensive (12euros) and no facility to make toast, tinned fruit???

Hotel was excellent. However the room was too warm, even if we were in month of November! AC was not working so we have to open the window and then if was little bit too noisy.

Excellent location, within walking distance of Opera Garnier where you can catch many tour buses. Staff very competent, friendly, and multilingual.

Arrived at hotel to be told that card was declined (weird because card is only used for reservation purpose until actual payment at end of stay) and twin room requested was not available. We were asked to pay cash up front. We stalled as we decided whether we wanted to stay or look for another place. After a few minutes attendant told us there was a twin available at another Best Western run by same manager and we would be able to get the same price. That hotel was the BW Opera Grand Boulevards. That hotel would rate as a mid to high 7. We might have had more options available closer to the sights had we not arrived for some sort of fashion show going on that week (late June).

It was my second time at this hotel. The shower and bathroom was quite small but very clean. The size of the room could have been bigger. There was no minibar in the room as advertised. I would stay at this hotel again. The hotel has an excellent location, near metro, train stations, and attractions.

Staff was very helpful. It would be good however to have a coffee machine/service in the room like we have in the states inclusive in the hotel rates. Elevator did not work which may have been inconvenient to some hotel guests . Overall a pleasant experience .

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was tiny and had a tacky outdated decoration which put me off. It was not dirty but because it was so old you had the impression that it was. Location was good and central. Overall, the hotel was OK but I have stayed in better hotels that were cheaper than this one!

Best Western Opera Celte la Fayette is a modern but friendly hotel. The rooms are clean, spacious and quiet. No shortage of hot water at high pressure. A continental breakfast is served which includes a range of cereals, cheeses, meat and eggs. Not generally included in the room price. The hotel is well situated for walking to the shops on Blvd Haussmann and a gentle walk up the hill taking in fabulous Rue Le Lepic and Rue Des Martyrs takes you to Butte Montmartre and the attractions of that area. A visit to Passage Verdeau leading off Rue du Faubourgh shows you an early example of covered shopping passages, full of unusual shops and cafes. Also a waxworks museum there. Lots of art noveau cafes in this area, ideal for lunch. The hotel bar can lack atmosphere, check out the little cafe on the corner, La Lamartine. Typical parisienne and very friendly. This hotel is one of our favourites, and we have no hesitation in recommending it.

It is a very quiet room in a nice hotel. For us it was a little too warm in the room. We spent two nights there and it isn't fare from theaters and if you like to go to the Hardrock cafe you can walk about 10 minutes. The breakfast is nice. We can find many things i.e. yogurt, juices, etc. The coffee is good but not quiet enough for two people.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is nice and quiet and close to a metro point. Short cab ride to most local attractions. The room was very small and the beds are by no means "comfy". Great for a short stay, for longer stays I would recommend a better accommodation.

In general it was a good stay in a clean room, near the metro station. However the room was too small and there was ** no breakfast ** included in the price of the room as it was stated in the Venere site!

Location is the main reason why I chose this hotel, and it is in a brillant location.Metro cadet 2 mins away and some good restaurants in the vicinity such as Au general lafayette. The room was small to tiny but was clean and linen changed everyday.Recommend it if you want a inexpensive no frills Hotel.

It was not clear if breakfast was included or not. The price of the breakfast was 7 or 12 Euro depending on who you asked. We didn't eat brakfast because we didn't want to risk to pay €12 per person. Normally the peanuts and crisp are free. Hotells only charge the food and drinks inside the minibar. We had to pay €12 for peanuts!! We felt fooled.

La habitación era bastante grande (en comparación a otros hoteles de Paris). El cuarto de baño estaba muy limpio. La apariencia externa del hotel y la recepción son discretas. En general es recomendable para estancias cortas.

This hotel is clean, the bathrooms are spotless. but yes you can't swing a cat in the rooms, and we were most unfortunate to stay in room 105 right beside the boiler house. so we got no sleep. when we opened the window to get some air we couldn't even see the sky. a bad room.....

Hotel was very close to Metro station - just a 2 min walk, which is good for winter. Plenty of restaurants in the area within 5 min walk. Breakfast not included, but was charged 7 euro/person while the published rate was 12 euro/person. Breakfast menu acceptable. Hotel premises were clean and well kept. We were out most of the day and only spent nights at the hotel.

The only complaint I have is that the rooms had a terrible terrible smell. Our family had two separate rooms and they both had an intensely horrible smell of stale smoke. I am not usually fussed about a little smell but this was terrible. It was as if they had worked at it for years to make it smell so bad! Apart from that the location was good and the neighbourhood was kind of quiet.

The double room is very tiny we had 6 piece of luggage and that filled the entire room not enough space to walk around. Worst if you have to open your luggage to find things. So is the bathroom. The room is slightly bigger compared to our Princess cabin cruise. The elevator is outdated.

The room was not bad, although kind of small - but that's Paris. Bathroom was very clean, towels changed every day. The service staff is a bit distant, although I got everything I asked for. Not bad experience overall.
