Overall very pleased. One complaint: printed information in our room said breakfast was 10 euros each. On check-out, hotel charged 13 euros each. Manager explained that the room information was 'out of date' but did NOT make a refund, which we thought was unprofessional.

Although the hotel is on a street that seems to be full of hardware and flooring stores, it's not far from the Bastille (a short walk) which is a really lively part of the city. We enjoyed walking around the area. It is also close to the Marais (again, a short walk.) For Paris, it is a reasonable place to stay, though the rooms and the elevator are tiny.

I would like to pay a special thank you to the lady at the front desk I think maybe she is the manageress she was most helpful during our short stay and could not do enough for us.This was the perfect hotel for our needs which was a business trip,it covered all our requirements,clean friendly and in great location.

I stayed 1 night in the Hotel. The room was clean as well as the bathroom. Both looked fairly new. A desk was available in the room, but I missed a modem plug for my laptop as well as an additional power plug. In general the price is very good for that type of hotel and it is very near to the Bastille, which offers a lot of nice restaurants and bars and sightseeing. Only real negative point was the unfriendly staff during breakfast, but I guess that this is just the normal "friendlyness" of the Paris inhabitants.

Good location, close to Bastille Square with a market on certain days along Bld. Richard Lenoir. Short walk to the bars/ cafe's along Rue de Lappe. Sensibly priced above average no frills accommodation. Make sure you check whether you're booking a twin or double room.

Some items in room needed repair. Toilet paper holder broken,never repaired during stay. Very small elevator. Small lobby and no amenities. Location good, short walk to Bastille place with many facilities.
