The Best Western Lafayette was excellent. The rooms were very clean and updated and the staff were so helpful.The breakfast was well provided and good value for the price of just over 11 euros.It is so central in Paris to walk to many sites including Louvre,Place de la Concorde and Sacre Coeur. There is a metro stop CADET nearby and plenty of eating places.I would highly recommend it and would stay there again,though the room was a little small. It was a great start to our France trip to be right in Paris and near everything. Thank you. (PS I am from Australia not USA.)

Overall the staff are friendly and helpful and speaks good English. however one of the night time staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful when I asked for the single sofa bed to be made up and that he repeated questioned me and did not believe that there was no bedsheet in the room. That aside the stay was pleasant enough and the location of this hotel was very ideal for exploring Paris as the Metro station was only 5 mins away and there is a MacDonald's nearby (only when everything else fails you can always count on good old MAcDonald's) :)
