Hotel Best Western L'Orangerie - Nîmes

The BW L`O fully met our expectations. Friendly and attentive welcome despite our delayed arrival at 2:00 a.m. However, due to pourring rain we could not enjoy the nice garden and outdoor facilities. Although the hotel is not next to the historic center it is definitely a recommendable place to stay for a couple of days.

This is an excellent hotel and very conviently located to the major tourist sights. It is possible to walk to the arena and city center from the hotel. We also took the demi-pension and enjoyed the breakfast and excellent dinners. We highly recommend this location.Friendly and helpful staff also made the stay very pleasant.We stayed three nights and would have like to stay one or two more but they were booked. This location is also a great jumping off place to visit Uzes, Point de Gard, and the Camargue region.

The restaurant is too expensive and not very good. The car park is dirty.

Once you had navigated the many roundabouts after coming off the motorway, L'Orangerie is not too difficult to find. It is not too far from the old centre of Nimes which has a convenient and not too expensive underground carpark near the Maison Caree and short walk from the arena etc. We found it to be very pleasant, staying first as a couple then in a triple room. Both rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The evening meals we had at the hotel were very good value for money. Didn't have time to try the swimming pool, but it looked inviting. Only drawback was the lack of a lift, so if you have a problem with luggage and stairs, ask for a ground floor room. We would certainly go back and recommend it to others.

Very good overall experience, small comfortable hotel well situated for access out of town and within easy walking distance of the old towm centre.Friendly helpful staff,I would not hesitate to recommend a stay here to my friends.

The L'Organgerie was generally pleasant, clean and comfortable to stay at. The staff was cordial & spoke English well enough, but not overly friendly or welcoming. This property would be more ideal in the warm Summer months to take advantage of the pool and grounds, rather than the off season when we visited (early October). The location of the hotel is great for exploring Nimes and the surrounding area (Pont du Garde, Orange, etc.)

This is a nice facility with good food services but it is a lodging for clients with a motor vehicle. It is a 30 minute walk from the train terminal to the hotel and another 15 to the old town center. And without a detailed map it is difficult to find. The pool area and the grounds are noisy because it is located at a highway intersection.

This is a very attractive and well-maintained hotel with good services and facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food and service in the restaurant were excellent. The swimming pool was very welcome on hot afternoons. The hotel is some distance out of town but there is a bus service so this isn't really a problem. This hotel is excellent value for money.
