Had a triple and it had tons of room; only space issue was the shower (tiny; difficult to manoeuvre in and out of).

Unusually large, comfortable room and bathroom but the lighting was rather poor at night in the bedroom as there were only pot lights in the ceiling. Very convenient location for taking side trips as the train station was only a short couple of blocks. It is also conveniently close to the main pedestrian shopping street.

It was a good idea to improve the neighbourhood by renovating this hotel. Certainly, in some details the hotel itself could be improved too. Two examples: - the douche and bathroom were too small, while the room itself offered ample space - the fruitsalad of the petit déjeuner tasted strange, as if fishoil had stood next to it in the frigidaire, and that remained the same during the whole two week-stay...

This is a good hotel in a good place in Nice. Unfortunately in the room the bathroom is splitted in two, and in the part in whis is located the toiled there is no windows, no fresh air, no good place.

Desk was helpful, very much so. Room was clean, comfortable. Near the tram, so easy to get around Nice from this location. The neighborhood is not very nice, near train station and so forth. Loud drunk people fighting on the street at night. If you don't mind that, the convenience for an early morning train is worth it.

Arrived early by 2 hours to find our given rooms to be the only 2 left uncleaned on the third floor. we were told that they would be ready after 1 hour. after 5 hours 1 room had been cleaned but the second room had not been touched. upon complaining to the receptionist we were given another room which we found suitable.

We (my husband and I)stayed in Nice one night after a trip to Italy , because we flew out of Nice airport in the morning. The location was great for that (close to the train station and easy to take shuttle to airport in the morning. It was however quite loud until late into the night and we had an issue with the bathroom. It was nice and big with a tub and shower, but it was impossible to take a shower without flooding the place.

I booked a single room for 60 euro. The space was barely big enough for myself. Room had a single bed and just enough room to walk around it. 1 couple cannot stay in a single room. Desk clerk was direct on not getting money back and unavailability of larger rooms. If you like the red light area, book your room here. Desk clerk was nice enough to let me keep my stuff in the room (since I already paid for it) while I looked for another hotel. Website unclear of size and number of people per room.

Close to train station was a plus for us. We asked for a double bed and we got a double and a single so that may have been the reason our room was so big. Shower/bath was exceptionally big by European standards. Room was next to road so that was a bit noisy in the mornings. Hotel lobby is very nice.

The double room is a little bit small and the bathroom orrible....the hotel is in the center of the city near the station(far from the sea..).The area is not very good, but an important commercial street(with a lot of shops) starts there!the BIG problem is the parking:it's very difficult to find one...and if you find one...the zone won't seem very safe...it's better to park the car in the station parking, but it costs 19 euro per day..so,you have to add 19 euro per day at the room price: in total about 60 euro per day..in this case the price is not very convenient...

The poorest service of the female receptionists at the check in counter. Will not recommend this hotel as I don't want to get a bad mood (again) upon arrival. The location is convenient though.

I was given free breakfast because my room was tiny but it was only 1 night so OK. Night porter was brilliant - I had my wallet stolen and he was very helpful ! Get to breakfast early before it's all gone ! Good value - excellent spot for station.

This hotel is very near from the station. It takes 5 minutes on foot. The room was very very big. I booked superior triple but there were one double bed and three single beds!! And it was clean. Some employees are very kind but others are not kind. When I asked him to book the taxi, it costed 2 euro.

When we arrived at the hotel the receptionist was not very helpful. In fact I did think for a minute that we were not booked in. The room was good value and it had a decent sized bathroom. The only fault were that the walls were paper thin and that we could hear the man in the next room snoring. It was in a good location close to decent restaurants, shops and the train station. The receptionist was extremely helpful when we checked out. They looked after our luggage as we were not leaving until late and phoned for a taxi to the airport. Overall very good value for money.

After searching a number hotels in the vacinty, was very impressed with this one. This is excellant quality for what you are paying for, very close to the station and buses. Walking distance to the Old Town and shops. Centrally located and easy to find, will stay here again. The staff were very useful and welcoming.

Our stay at this hotel was relatively good. The hotel loby is much nicer than the rooms, so don't get fooled, but i have to say that at least it was all clean and comfortable. The room was spacious, but that's because we had three beds in ours so it was probably a bigger one. The bathroom however, was tiny and I bumped myself often moving around by myself. The location is good for the price you pay and about 15-20 minutes ok walk will get you to the beaches. You also get access to the cheaper local facilities such as food, internet and laundry.

It was nice to stay at the rooms at the Quality Hotel de Madrid in Nice. It was nice and close to the train station. The part that was annoying was the fact that the payphone did not work and I was not able to use a calling call from the room. And on top of that the internet did not work as we were expecting.
