Best Western Hotel City - Milan

Muy bien situado. Perfecto para viaje de negocios. La habitación un poco justa de tamaño.

Hi, My two friends and myself stayed in a triple room. It was a double with a folder bed but was quite OK.Our room faced the main street but the noise was not a problem( double glazing is great). A decent bathroom and a breakfast which was more than OK. The staff were helpful,the location for shopping and eateries fine.About 7euros to the train by taxi.We were there only for two nights and were not disappointed.Recommended.

Estuvimos los primeros dias de septiembre del 2006, encontrando mucho moviento a toda hora en los alrededores del hotel. Esta muy bien ubicado, a 8 cuadras de la estacion de trenes y 50 mts. del metro. Tuvimos la suerte de encontrar en la recepcion una persona que hablaba perfectamente el español y muy bien predispuesta para resolver cualquier pregunta. Si bien la habitacion no esta modernizada, contaba con un TV plasma y a pesar del gran movimiento vehicular sobre la calle Corso Buenos Aires, la misma resultaba silenciosa. La parte mas precaria, era el baño, muy chico y viejo.

With the checkin the unfriendly receptionist said, that my reservation was cancelled. As I asked a copy of this cancellation another employee said, that there was no cancellation at all. With the checkin I heard that another guest had a lower quote (15€) for a single room.

I go often on a mission. Therefore I have something to compared. In West City hotel bed-linen was decayed and one time - with holes. The carpet has spots and don't has clean impression. Washing complect of bathroom didn't renovate in full everyday.

The hotel was convenient enough to the Rail Station, as well as the busses that run from there to Malpensa Airport. It was also walking distance from the magnificent Cathedral. The only really odd thing was the bathroom, which had a tub with a shower head, but no shower curtain or rail. There was also a 2 minute period of cloudy orange water from the bathtub faucet which was rather disconcerting.

For my personal needs (Visit of Salone del Mobile every April, metro station Nr. 1/Lima) the Best Western was & is perfect. A price of € 112 at the time of a big Fair, the perfect location (near inner city, comfortable public transport connections, 2 cafe bars for quick aperitivos and appointments ;), central railway station etc.) is unbeatable. It was the second visit an me and my colleagues of the press will book it again for 2007. Note: Best connection with metro 1 to the new Milano Fairgrounds in Rho, 30 minutes only. Perfect for companies with medium/low budgets, which is an important topic these days for all business people, i guess.

Ottimo rapporto qualita'-prezzo ! Camere spaziose e molto pulite. Eccellente posizione per chi ama lo shopping, proprio nel cuore di Buenos Aires...E per raggiungere il Duomo non c'é che l'imbarazzo della scelta fra una gradevolissima camminata a piedi di 20 min. o il metro, proprio di fronte all'hotel..! Peccato la sala della prima colazione un po' ridotta..ma sembra che sarà presto ingrandita..! Un indirizzo da conservare e da consigliare agli amici !

Very good value for money.

My sister and I had a lovely stay at the City Hotel. The location is excellent, right on the Buenos Aires road which has loads of great shops (mainly high street prices) and from the hotel you can walk right through to the duomo. It is about a 20min walk but it's a pleasent journey as you pass many beautiful buildings and lots of shops along the way. The staff at the hotel were very helpfull, they made dinner reservations for us, explained how to get to the restaurants and gave us advise on the nightlife in Milan. We went to Hollywood, it was a great club but it was quite expensive! We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

This place was perfect for the price. The room was the largest I have had in Italy in that price range. It also was the only room ive stayedin with a bathtub! Which was great after a full day of walking around Milan. I would reccommend this place, but I would request a no smoking room. I forgot to and our room smelled a little of smoke. Other than that - Perfect!

When I arrived there was no booking on their system. They did however accomodate me at the rate indicated

Good quality, clean, good location at Metro Lima and Corso Buenos Aires, relatively low price, paid parking possible, breakfast weak;

We hve ordered two baby bets, but only one was in the hotel. It was a serious problem for us. The people behind the reception desk were not so helpful. Only the elevator boy was the one who helped us, and bring another bed from another hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at City. I was able to communicate very well in English with the staff. They were very helpful. It was a nice room. Even though it overlooked the street it was not noisy. Breakfasts were just ok. Adequate but nothing special. I would stay there again. Very convenient to the Lima metro.

Room was clean and ample for the price and the staff friendly - however the breakfast was poor, with little variety.

I had no major problems with the accomodation perhaps a little on the expensive side. Breakfast area was small and compact and did get overcrowded on occasions. Overall I would recommend City.

Everything ok, only the balcony should be cleaned once.
