This hotel is absolutely great value for money. Location, interior and size of room are great. It is no typical commercial hotel. Front office and bell staff speak good English and helpful, especially the mid-night receptionist, he was absolutely great. The rooftop restaurant on 6th floor directly overlooks the main square and cathedral. Dinner is good and very reasonably priced too. However, if you are light sleepers, this hotel for facing right at the main square might not be your ideal choice. There are always large government or public activities throughout the day and nights. We heard the Mexican's national anthem zillion times during the 4-day visit, from 5am to sometimes the whole night.
