The price/quality relationship of this hotel was rather poor in my opinion. First of all, the entire hotel smelled really weird. Also, the breakfast was very limited and the restaurant where we had to take it was rather small. There was no fresh made coffee as well so I would recommend taking breakfast somewhere else instead of paying the extra fee in the hotel. Location of the hotel is great however. It was our second stay in Lyon and I certainly preferred the Mercure Wilson hotel (also good location, very spacious rooms, good breakfast, friendlier staff)

The bar fridge was off and had no door! The floor was creaky and uneven! The night manager spoke virtually no English. It was expensive for the poor quality of the rooms. It was the only hotel which did not include breakfast in the price. And 10 euros each for a very ordinary breakfast for a family of 5 people made it poor value overall, especially as a stopover hotel. Best Western is having their reputation tarnished with this place! Not impressed!

Good location near Lyon Perrache Train Station. Without air conditioning. Very hot in summer.
