Good Hotel overall, a small problem in the room ( safebox not operational ) and two general points : rather far away from Lugano center, even if the walk is pleasant along the lake, and VERY NOISY road in front of the hotel, making impossible to sleep with open windows.

Lovely corner room with beautiful lake views and two balconies. Quality furnishings, spacious, very good breakfast with extremely professional and friendly staff who remembered each guests nationality (and spoken language after the first meeting)

A very pleasant unpretentious hotel, wonderfully located with magnificent views. The in-house restaurant slightly lacked in atmosphere but more than made up for this in its excellent food and wine and friendly and professional service. We tried others in the town but kept returning here.

How to reach Best Western Hotel Bellevue au Lac
By car
Take motorway exit Lugano Sud and after the traffic circle follow the signs for Lugano Lago. Pass the Esso petrol station, then enter the motorway, once again following the signs for Lugano Lago. Turn left at the traffic light. After 200 metres you will find the hotel on the left hand side.
By train
From the railway station take bus line 2 and get off at the Paradiso post office bus stop. Then walk 5 minutes to the hotel.
