I was put in room 50 which has an exceptional view on Luzern and is very comfortable while paying a reduced price (low season). I was delighted by the beautiful surroundings of the old city of Luzern. Everything inside the hotel is very clean and the staff is very professional although they come over as rather cold and composed.

The hotel is in old town in the center. It is very nice and the windows of my room was in front of the fountain. The room was quite spacious and personal nice and gently.

A great hotel right in the middle of everything. No air conditioning if it is hot. We left the windows open and they had fans in the room so we were very comfortable even in late June. I would stay here again my next visit. Travel tip: if you have a Euro Rail Flex pass with days available you can ride the boat around Lake Lucerne for free...we did it twice!!

The hotel is well located, the room is clean and the spaciousness was ok. The hotel has free internet access, that is very appreciated.

perfect location, very nice and helpful staff, nice breakfast, very big room, only wasn't so quiet at night because after all it was carnival (very nicely celebration in the town by the way) but sound-isolating windows worked a lot; when coming back to lucerne (and I hope I will) I'd surely stay at Krone again! unfortunately their restaurant is closed on weekends, but nearby I'd recommended a cheese fondue at the "fondue house", only two streets away.

My husband and I went to Luzern and stayed at the Hotel Krone May 2006. The hotel is in a good location, being in the heart of the old city, which makes it convenient for restaurants and shopping as well as having that "romantic feel". The positives were that it was within walking distance of the railway station, the free internet was wonderful, convenient setting ( Luzern is an easy city to tour by foot), it had a jug in the room for tea and coffee - unusual for Europe!and it is located in the pedestrian area so it was quiet at night. We would have liked to have a hot breakfast instead of Continental but that is typical of European hotels. This was our first time at Luzern, and if we are ever lucky enough to return, we would be happy to stay at the Hotel Krone again.

Hotel is in an ideal location. Very walkable from the train station in old town. Excellent shopping nearby.
