Stayed in a junior suite which had an extra single bed. Extremely clean. Good quality mattress. Comfortable facilities. Competent and courteous staff. Entrance a little disappointing as straight off the street faced with stairwell. But it is London where space is precious. Simple but pleasant breakfast. Ideal for bus and tube. There are two Venere hotels on same road so make sure you check the number before you go.

Small but well appointed suite. Spotlessly clean and well equipped, comfortable bed. Convenient location for the Albert Hall where we were attending a Prom. Holland Park and the beautifully serene Japanese garden just across the road. Staff were friendly and obliging. Breakfast; Continental with enough choice. Good coffee. Dining area rather small.

The room was very small e.g. it was hard to manoeuvre around the bed. I travelled with my sister and we were told that the hotel did not have any twin rooms. Our room was at the front of the hotel so there was a lot of traffic noise. The staff were polite and helpful. Hotel is ok for a short stay because of its location.

Very nice area close to the tube station and regular buses. The hotel is easy to find with very helpful staff checking in was quick, I booked the double executive which was a lot smaller then expected but still nice. Room was very nice overlooking the main road but not to noisey. The only issue is the size of rooms as the executive was small a normal must be tiny, would still go back as searching for the best price got me a great deal. Well worth a visit.

The hotel is well situated on the intersection between High Street Kensington and Abingdon Road. Entrance on Abingdon Road after the Carphone Warehouse shop. Rooms on Abingdon Road are quieter than ones with windows onto the high street. We had booked a junior suite and were allotted the one in room 301, on the top floor, with windows on Abingdon Road. It is a quiet room for such a good location and overlooks Abingdon Road. The air conditioning is very discrete, and the loud bathroom ventilator can be switched off easily. Size of the room is that of a normal hotel room. It was nicely decorated with a large photo wallpaper and green-toned colors. The bed was a bit short, although long enough for us. The bathroom was modern and clean. The shower door didn't close completely, neither did the main double glazed inside window, as the opening and closure system is prone to jamming. We eventually got it shut. The room has good wifi reception. Due to renovations, the breakfast room was closed, but served breakfast in bed free of charge. The service was sometimes unreliable. They didn't clean the room on the second day, although they had agreed to do this before noon as per my express request. I also needed to remind them twice to fill up the empty toilet paper. On the positive side, we could keep our bags in the reception area all day on the day of departure, they offered us water and ordered low cost and reliable minicab transportation.

I could recommend this hotel only to those travellers who would like to stay in London for a night or two(and who don't care too much for extra-comfort). The hotel is really conveniently located(3-4 minutes from the tube station and 1-2 minutes from Holland park). I guess this is its major advantage. Everything (including relatively small living room and a bathroom) is acceptable...But only for a 1-2 days... And definetely the price /quality ratio is rather middle(I admit the hotel can call itself a 4-star hotel and charge whatever it wants.. Just based on its location and some additional amenities...But it deserves more 3 stars than 4-stars..). P.S. I would advise all the potential guests to ask for rooms NOT looking at Kensington High street. Traffic is really very intensive but soundproofing is rather poor.

Lovely hotel and staff, extremely polite and happy to help. The room was 'tight' but beautifully furnished and clean. A wonderful experience in an unvisited part of London. Would happy recommend and return.
