Best Western Senator Hotel - Istanbul

I stayed 3 days in Istambul the room in Hotel was clean and spaciousness. The staff was very competent and lovely. The price of rooms was exactly and indicated as web page. Istambul is a city very special but is beautiful.

Istanbul is a wonderfull city, multietnic and very frindly, the hotel was very confortable and it's near to the most important historical area. you will have to carefull to the taxi....

The staff were good but the management were poor the outside noise went on all night as the shops/cargo bays were reciveing goods all day and night. The hotel rooms were cold and we were told the heating is not switched on until the middle of November and there were no spare blankets available. There was NO tea or coffee making facility in the room, requested a non smoking room but room stank of smoke. Breakfast was a big let down as only nescafe powder coffee and hot food consisting of frankferters in onion gravy boiled eggs and soup was available, not acceptable for a four star hotel.Resturant food very poor bar drinks very expencive ( single whisky 15 euros local beer 10 euros )but in all had a great time in Istanbul.

I would definately recommend this hotel. It is within walking distance to the Acropolis, restaurants and shopping.

The staff were very friendly and professional and the hotel offers good facilities but the location and the size of the room was a disappointment. We stayed in a double room but it was like a shoe box, very compact with little storage space. Housekepping was of a poor standard, our room wasnt hoovered throughout our stay and the bathroom wasnt cleaned properly. The air conditioning didnt work in the room either. Our room was on the 1st floor so every time someone called for the lift you could hear it and eventhough we had the windows closed you could still hear people talking outside. I would not stay at the hotel again or recommend it anyone.

Some problems with hotel pick up from airport and with my prenotation's room,1 night in a near hotel and then back not in a normal room but in a suite for apologise, basicaly very nice hotel and hospitality.

The price for the room was really cheap, the hotel was very good overall. But the breakfast was really bad, worst coffe i ever taste, but there was a lot of fresh fruit. Dont ask for the airport service, it is too expensive and the driver is crazy. At the way back we asked for a taxi the night before for a fix price and it was 50% cheaper than the hotel service.

My room was clean, quiet and air conditioner was great. Breakfast was excellent. I would definately recommend.

Over all a good price per quality. I was frustrated only by the price of beer at the bar and the cost of taxi's to the airport. Oh, and the breakfast, which was not tasty at all. (Meat was like hot dogs and eggs were cold, but bread was good) I would suggest you make sure guests know about any bus, and especially boat tours. I would have enjoyed going out on the sea but didn't know how to do that. Also, more general tourist info should be available. I didn't even know what I could do in the area. Wireless was available, but low quality - kept dropping my connection. TV was good but CNN kept freezing up. But the room was neat and clean, which is the most important thing by far. And staff was pretty friendly.

It was our first time in Istanbul for a 5 nights holiday. The hotel is very nice, clean and in a very good position to move easily to and from all sites (the easiest and economic way is the tramway).

This is an excellent hotel, great value for money and the staff are very efficient and friendly. Transfers to/from airport were very efficient, even when we arrived at 1.30am and departed at 5.30am. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel.

Excellent value for money. Breakfast was good and rooms simple and clean.

Excellent hotel near to trans and Sutanhamet

Location maps is absolutely wrong. It doesn't correspond to BW Senator but with BW The President. Thanks to the personnel of this one I was able to get near the BW Senator which is quite difficult to find. It was completely a mess to get there by car.

Best Western Senator Hotel has high quality and service, I like my room very much, very clean very spacious.

I would like to stay in Best Western Senator Hotel again. Very good location for travellers and tourists. It's very short way to go to Topkapı Palace, Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. The Grand Bazaar is also very near to the Hotel. The hotel located in the city center but very quite aria. I definitly recommend this nice hotel to my friends.
