Hotel Best Western Empire Palace - Special Class - Istanbul

Attractive decor. Rooms were small, but exceptionally clean and comfortable. Furnishings were nice. Plenty of hot water; bathroom was clean and spacious. Mattresses were fabulous, sheets were soft and high-quality, pillows were great. (plus they have a pillow menu that we didn't try.) breakafast was decent, although overall we found the menu too expensive and westernized.

All right. Very suitable place for visiting the most important and beautiful attractions of Istanbul.

The main comment is that in spite of having the four rooms confirmed by you, when we arrived to the hotel we were told that they have had overbooking and we were oblige to move to another and close hotel of the "same standard". ????? I was disappointed at the desk service at this hotel. On Saturday I found out that I had received an important phone call on Friday night. But the night clerk had told my caller that I was not in my room, though clearly I was there. When I asked about the phone call, the night clerk said, oh, I didn't see your name on the room roster! Since I was the only one checked in for that room, I did not understand how he could mistake the name. When I complained, I did not receive an appropriate apology, just a dismissal.

Very nice view, nice Rooms, in the middle of Istanbul. In case you are Turkish, you will be able to get a better price for the room. As a married couple we found the hotel good. Excellent location . The room appeared to be renovated, but the double bed was a bit tired. The staff were very helpful.

The location is just great because it is near to the key tourist spots in Stanbul. The only problem is that the hotel is not recommended to guests with children or young guests because their TV is showing triple XXX movies. My daughter was shock when she turn on the TV set and saw the X rated movies, which even adults would find it a bad taste.

Very clean hotel. Terribly noisy (I had to call reception at midnite asking them to break up 4 or 5 drunken people brawling in the corridors). Very good service by waiters at bar/bellstaff. Good location. Very tiny rooms.

Very nice equipped rooms. Good breakfast. Located in the old center of Istanbul. Staff very friendly.

My stay at the Empire Palace Hotel was excellent!The hotel is very clean and the service is outstanding!It is located near everything of interest in Istanbul.The rooms had everything for your comfort.I really liked the mini bar and in room internet access.An excellent place to stay in Istanbul!
