The hotel has a friendly and helpful staff and provides a professional service. Among the numerous facilities, such as a bar, a restaurant and a fitness room with a sauna, you may also find four meeting rooms with plenty of daylight for up to 60 people.

We were disappointed when we arrived to find we had a twin room where the beds could not be pushed together. We asked at reception if there was a double available and immediately we were upgraded to a lovely suite which was separate to the hotel, almost like our own little apartment in Hamburg. We had our own entrance door but full access to hotel next door to us. It was a wonderful surprise and the suite was very spacious and had all we needed. The hotel itself was clean and warm and the staff very nice. We will return but next time we will take care to book a double!

The room was terribly small. How the hotel can offer that kind of room. Even for one person, we were two persons. Hotel surroundings is really bad, the personality at the Hotel is mostly discourtenous (only the boy at the bar was competent). I can't recommend St. Raphael to anybody!!

Nice hotel near main railway station. Breakfast very recommendable. Area surrounding the hotel not very hot, but near citycentre, shops and in a walking distance from christmas markets.

By carFrom Bremen or Hannover: cross the Elbe bridge and take the right lane of the left-hand traffic in direction of the Zentrum and Amsinckstraße. Pass the Jet petrol station and make a right turn into Süderstraße. Keep on the left lane. At the traffic light turn left into Hammerbrookstraße. Take the right lane of the left-hand traffic. Cross the Kurt-Schumacher-Allee and finally turn left into the parallel street of Adenauerallee.
From Berlin: at the highway intersection Hamburg Ost proceed along the A24 until reaching Hamburg-Horn. At the roundabout drive in direction of the Zentrum heading for Sievekingsallee. Cross three traffic lights. At the fourth make a left turn into Sievekingsdamm and continue to the end of the street. The street makes a right curve leading to Hammer Landstraße. Drive straight ahead into Borgfelder Straße. After passing the Siemens building, cross the intersection and turn right into Adenauerallee leading to the hotel.
