Hotel Best Western Select - Florence

We enjoyed the Best Western Select after we were moved into a better room after our first night. We were initially put in a room underneath the roof on the top (third) floor and with 32 degrees outside the aircon could not compete and the beds were very uncomfortable. When we complained the next morning we were able to move to a better room on the second floor, wonderfully cool with better beds. The hotel is well located, a nice walk from the centre, or you can take the bus. Good breakfast! Also, the staff at the front desk were very friendly, helpful and gave us a little discount because we had to move rooms. Just the way our complaint was handled was super! We will certainly be back!

Our stay at the Best Western Select was quite nice. Check in was very easy and the staff was very welcoming. The hotel itself is not in the heart of the sites and attractions, but with a little help from the staff and a map, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, including an amazing restaurant about three blocks away. The rooms were a good size and our room, a street facing room, had beautiful traditional sliding shutters and opening windows which were great for listening to the sounds of the street while still maintaining privacy. The breakfast was just enough to give you energy to start a busy day of sightseeing. Breads, meats, cheeses, fruits, cereal, yogurt, juices, water and coffee. This was our first trip to Florence and I think the Best Western Select served as a great home base while we were there. I would stay there again.

Very friendly and helpful personnel. Nice and spacey room. Close location to bus circuit that takes you to heart of activities. Or 30 minutes walking distance from Duomo. Nice Hotel in quiet neighbourhood. Great breakfast selection. Convenient but limited parking spaces.

Parking fee is quiteexpensive and not shown when reserved. Parking space is quite small relatively difficult to get out. The room however is good quite comfort for the price paid.
