I would like to take a bath, not only take a shower. But the room had a shower room only. The hotel is four star hotel, so I expected every room had a bath tab. If I had found a bath tub in my room, the hotel would have been perfect. (In Rome, I checked in at a Best Western Hotel Artdeco,I found a bath tub in my room.)

Great hotel in the centre, lots of character. Only drawback was the room was quite noisy early in the morning as the rubbish was being emptied across the street.

The size of room was just OK to open up my big suitcase. It was pitty that I could not get a room with a bathtub. Very very good internet access, which was necessary for this business trip!

The Pallazzo Ognissante is very well located near the train station SMN, only5 minutes walk. It is a nice hotel near all the touristic sites of Florence. The rooms are small, the beds are twin beds although asked for one double bed. No desk in the room (the TV takes all place on it) almost no electric contacts. No free wireless internet. The breakfast is poor and the breakfast service was not friendly. The welcome however was very good as well as some guidance for the city visit.

The hotel is located very closed to the central train station. The room had enough space for my friend and myself. Breakfast was good. The staff members were very friendly and helpful.

This hotel in Firenze offers something really unexpected in Italy - Fluent portuguese-speaking staff for Brazilians! We loved it! Staff is perfect and gave us very important tips around. Breakfast is OK and the overall feeling of the hotel is that you get what you pay.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel and found it to be ideal for what we needed. It is close to the train station and within walking distance of most sights. The rooms were clean, bright and spacious with a view overlooking the street. A very good breakfast was provided. The staff were friendly and helpful in advice. Price reasonable for Florence

Hotel is ideally situated, midway between the station and the historic centre, in a relatively quiet area, with good value reasonably-priced restaurants in the same street or very near. Excellent buffet breakfast. Staff friendly and efficient. One minor reservation - coffee bar not always open for service during the day.

Hotel was very plain for a 4 star but in a location easy walk from both the train station and landmarks. Rooms were on the small side and as usual in Europe the 'double' beds were two singles put together. Breakfast was ok. Service was good and staff were very helpful. Overall just ok.

Hotel was very nice, single room size is a bit small as is the bed, but good quality for money. Location was central as well, took about 10 mins to walk to piazza republica. Hotel staff was helpful as well. Would recommend staying here.

Our room we booked was horrible!! i felt like i was in a closet, no windows, slanted walls, low ceilings, kinda reminded me a a display in an IKEA store, scandanavian atmosphere in Florence, not what i wanted at all, and the price was high, and i am not sure how its done in europe, but to be charged for bottle water in the room after paying those prices is not acceptable, i would had rather stayed in a youth hostel

For the price paid, the room could have been ready even at 10am as this is a quiet period for Florence. Staff solved that in 30min. Would probably enjoy this facility better on a summer month.

This is an excellent hotel in a great part of Florence. It is within walking distance of the train station, and only a short walk from the historic center. There are excellent restaurants and an excercize facility in the vicinity. The employees are competent, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are very pleasing. This is my new favorite place to stay in Florence.

Very nice experience, close to everything, croisants were the best in all of Italy and much of Paris, and I'm a baker. could use screens on windows had a couple of nasty mosquito bites on the garden side. don't let that discourage anyone. well worth it. If I stay in Florence again thats where I'll be.

I loved this hotel! It was clean, modern, safe for the single traveler, and everyone was very warm and friendly. Location was great, too, and Piazza Republica was just a brief walk. While my room faced the street, sounds were not a problem as long as the window was kept closed. There are lovely small outdoor spaces with tables and chairs by a number of the rooms (I highly recommend asking for one of those). No question that I recommend the hotel and would stay again and again!

This was an excellent hotel in a great location. The rooms were not large but adequate and the bathroom was a fairly good size. There was an actual shower but it was tiny. The only bad thing about the hotel was that, when showering, the water would turn ice cold a few times within 20 min. It didn't last long but the shower was so small that you couldn't step out from underneath the water when it got cold. Otherwise, the entire hotel was clean and very nice. The breakfasts in the morning were excellent and the staff were very helpful with directions, excursions and anything else we needed.

I spent 4 nights in Florence at 3 different hotels, and this one was by far the nicest. The room had a very modern feel and decor, including key card access and a small flat panel television (with 2 chanels in English). Breakfast was more extensive than I've had at other European hotels as it included some lunch meat items and a greater selection of rolls and pastries.

Very modern hotel. The rooms were much nicer than many hotels in Italy of a comprable price. Location is not amazing, the SMN area can be a little uneasy at night. Overall the hotel itself was lovely.

Very nice accomodations. The dirctions to the hotel do not clearly state how to get there from the train station. It is about a 10 - 15 minute walk to the major sights in Florence.
