City centre hotel. Excellent location. The lobby and public areas seemed new and up-to-date. The room too had been refurbished to a good standard but was tiny. The bed was a decent size however and the en-suite was very clean and well provided. The problem was that the room looked out on to a shabby courtyard with bins. I closed the blind but opened it again at 12.30am,1.00am, 1.30am, 2.00am as the two pubs which had roofed smoker facilities in the same yard, partied loudly and intrusively until 2.00am. I was only staying one night but would noy have accepted that room for a second night at all.

This hotel was very clean, updated in a central location. I would stay there again with no hesitation. The one thing we noticed is the area gets just a bit seedy in the evening, but we did not feel as though it was a threat to our safty.

Transport Services Academy Plaza Hotel
The hotel does not feature any parking facilities. However, parking is available in a multi-storey car park nearby, just opposite (less than 100 m) Q-Park on Marlborough Street.
Its rates are as follows: €4,50 any period from from 5 p.m. to 11 a.m.; €2,00 per hour from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; €12,50 per 24 hours.
