We arrived on 27th December for a three night stay. Some mix up in the online booking meant we had actually booked our first night on a night the hotel was closed. Rang the doorbell and we were welcomed and brought down to an apartment as an upgrade as we had booked a room. Staff were very helpful and the hotel is close to town, a downhill walk of about 15 mins. Would highly recommend the montenotte as excellent value for money and located close to the city centre, also has free parking which the centre hotels don't. For the price we paid it has been the best value stay we have had in Ireland for over ten years.
