Best Western Hotel City - Copenhagen

The hotel was much as expected, except the breakfast was even better than we imagined! Top marks for breakfast. The room was fine but the shampoo/conditioner were both mysteriously in bottles labelled hand lotion. We tried to sort that out but were given more hand lotion with the statement that it was shampoo. Well, we had brought our own supplies anyway, so it was a minor matter to us. Hotel situation was very convenient for the Metro station and for Nyhavn. Hotel reception staff were very nice. Beds neatly made up every day. Our room faced the street so there was some street noise in the mornings. Strongly recommend this hotel. Would definitely return.

The hotel is up to the normal Best western standards. Excellent breakfasts, clean, comfortable and well-situated. Noise from local bar(?) was a nuisance on some nights and bed making not so good but otherwise a very decent hotel.

Copenhagen is known for expensive and frugal hotels, the Best Western is relative a very good deal for the price, nice location, breakfast and internet access. It was my third trip to Copenhagen, and fourth hotel, I will be choose again the Best Western.

It was my fist time I stayed at Hotel Best Western City. I was impressed :-) Very good hotel that I can recommend to my friends.

When arrived, the receptionist asked to pay in advance for all the group (of 5 people). I had only cash EUR, and had to search for a bank to exchange. Three banks in a row refured to exchange my 500 EUR-notes (only 50 and 100 are welcome), and only FOREX exhange bureau agreed. Good morning, Copenhagen. Usually I paid when checked-out.

Great location..first time to Copenhagen....walking distance to all areas of the city..one of the nearest hotels to the pedestrian shopping (Stroget), and restaurants at (Nyhavn)and little mermaid statue. Moderate price in comparison to hotels in area. Some friends stayed at the Strand hotel around the corner..a little more upscale.

Great to find a reasonably priced hotel with breakfast included within walking distance of many attractions including Nyhavn and Stroget with their many eateries.Hotel was also convenient for underground station.We were visiting a family member working at Maersk which is en route to Little Mermaid

The hotel is in a perfect location, very close to the main attractions. Very good buffet breakfast. Very quiet rooms. I would recommend it.We stayed there one week but travelled in the area as well.

Hotel location very convienient in the heart of old Copenhagen, close to all the touristics sites and to restaurants. to be recommanded

I would stay there again and recommend friends. I liked it . The rooms were fantsatci, the location was great, within walking disctance to many social amenities. It was clean, the atmosphere was veru fresh. Keep up the good work.

Good rooms, simple and fair hotel. A little bit too much expansive for the category. 5 minutes walking by Nyhaven.

This hotel is well located within walking distance of Nuhavn and the main shopping district, yet away from traffic and in a quiet location. The tariff includes a very comprehensive buffet breakfast. It is not airconditioned, although small fans can be sought from reception.
