Hotel Best Western Chavannes de Bogis - Chavannes-de-Bogis, Geneva

Breakfast buffet has no relationship between price (SFr 22,--) and qualitiy. Convenience food (scrambled eggs) and no fresh coffee is not the Switzerland-Standard!

We arrived there around 3pm and still our room was not ready. And when we checked out, the woman staff mis-calculated price so that she charged us double amount, which I had to approve your deal. and she also not that kind serviceman. No suggestion for those who without car.

The hotel is a long way from Geneva itself. Although the hotel offers a shuttle service the times are limited and not widely advertised. The 10 minute taxi fare to and from the airport ranged from 80 CHF to 100 CHF (at 4.30 am). We were placed in a smoking room- facilites were very minimal. Staff were not very helpful.

The hotel building is rather unassuming looks like your mass prefabricated structure, however the rooms are nice, modern and comfortable, the hotel is outside Geneva,it is a country setting with farm fiels all around the hotel, rooms on the lake side have a beautiful view of the lake and the Alps in the distance. Getting to Geneva during the day is not a problem the hotel runs a shuttle bus to the airport every hour or so and the train ride to and from Geneva is only 5 minutes from the airport, however the location can be a problem at night, the last shuttle bus ends at 11PM so if you want to have a night out in Geneva you will be up for a very expensive taxi ride to the hotel (everything is very, very, very expensive in Switzerland) .

We were told you find our own transportation from the train station, since the shuttle was too busy to come and get us, we asked for an extra pillow to facilitate some medical equipment we carry and none was recieved, and finally we asked for a wake up call on the morning of departure and didn't get one almost causing us to miss our 100 euro taxi ride to the airport since the shuttle didn't start until a half hour after we needed it. It was not a pleasant experience, needless to say we won't be using Best Western again. Tom and Mary Kuffel

We arrived very late and an employee was was doing a great job of training a new employee. Staff was fluent in English and very helpful. Scenery from our room and the terrace was excellant. Breakfast was nice.
