Hotel Best Western Le Comtadin - Carpentras

I could secure my motor bike in the garage with the aid of the staff.The center of Carpentras is a 3 minutes walk from the hotel and very interesting to visit till 7 pm. I spent 1 day visiting the Mont Ventoux, north and south on motor bike.I recommend the breakfast at BW le Comtadin

Very close and easy pedestrian access to town centre, easy parking, and manager will always either garage or park your car. All sites of Carpentras easily accessible, eg Cathedral Saint Suffrein,Friday market (very lively takes over the whole town). Very convenient, comfortable, and a warm welcome from Jean-Baptiste and his wife and team.

We stayed in 5 hotels in the region of which this was the least good. The main problem was that the room was uncomfortably cramped for 2 people with bulky, unsuitable furniture. Reception staff were not well-informed or particularly helpful.

Nice friendly welcome, comfortable room, decent location. But we were tired and wanted to bring pizza back to the room and relax, which caused a big, surprising blowup with the management. They set us a place to eat in the breakfast room, but we were really taken aback by the experience.

This is a well kept small hotel. Rooms are a bit small, but nice. Breakfast was pleasant, and Carpentras was a quiet town, within easy distance of Avignon. We used it as a base for 3 days, and especially enjoyed our visit to the oldest synagogue in France, located in Carpentras.
