Best Western Premier Park Hotel Brussels - Brussels

While the hotel was clean and accetable we do not think it is a 4 star level hotel. The bedspread had a cigarette burn in it, there was no conditioner, only shampoo (important for those with long hair), no face washers. When we inquired about good restaurants in Brussels the girl at reception could only come up with the restaurant down the road, which was good, but we were looking for good restaurants. We would not stay here again.

I was realy desapointed cause the room I've asked for wasn't the one I received, despite the employee'es promise. Instead, I receveid a small and really basic room...

This was my first stay, it is a long way from shops etc. there is no coffee makin gfacilities in the rooms, rooms are not very spacious and expensive for what is on offer. I was supposed to be on a "special" reduced rate which still cost 410€ for 3 nights. The quality of the food on offer under room service is not good and mine arrived cold on the first night. It is not near many restaurants for women travelling alone who do not want to be wandering the streets on dark evenings.The bar/reception is not very welcoming. The park opposite is however a nice respite.

Gracious welcome and small, inviting bar as part of lobby sitting room. Room was good size ,but no rooms on garden side of hotel were available..this means 24 hour traffic on street for rooms in the front of hotel and traffic noise from cars and trucks every hour of the night..not what was expected. We wanted a nice hotel for last night in Brussels, but I did not sleep and my wife required ear plgs. Bed mattress cover just lays on top of mattress and when moved inadvertently revealed many human hairs on surface of mattress..not appealing...hotel was advised of this. Bath and rest of room appeared clean. Nice neighborhood away from main tourist attractions. Helpful staff, nice breakfast room. If we had had a room on the garden side I am sure our stay would have been much better.
