bathroom too small, only with shower, otherwise very good, indeed free parking and free wi-fi internet.no sports channel on tv, air conditioning blowing air, but did not cool the room at all. I didn't know from website about a stay tax in Bologna, which was 1.5Euro/day/person, intoduced with September 1st and which has to be paid only in cash.

Very helpful staff all the time. Clean, comfortable, good size rooms. Very good breakfast. Bus stop at 10 meters from Hotel door, 5 minutes to central train station of Bologna. We’ll stay there again.

Two main problems: 1. It isn't easy to find if coming by car: inadequate road signs 2. Room was too small for two people

Simple hotel, helpful friendly staff, very good breakfast, secure underground car park. We stayed 1 night as a family and it was fine. Not very picturesque but clean and pleasant. Free coffee/tea/water in reception which was very welcome.

Great hotel, clean and spacious rooms, staff is amazing, would come back again. Only negative was noisy rooms (solved with ear plugs) and although there are over 30 tv channels, no European news channel was available.

Excellent. Quiet rooms. Friendly staff. Bus stop 50 meters away. Supermarket near. The Rose restaurant 3 minute walk away. We will come back again. We came to Bologna for holidays. Traveled with trains to Ferrara, Venice and Ravenna.

Excelent hotel for a short time stay. Room was very small but clean and quiet. There is PAM supermarket very close to the hotel, a big market good for shopping food, water and Bialetti`s. A bit far from historical center, but there is a bus stop in front of the hotel.

We only stayed one night in Bologne on our route from Italy to Austria. The staff were very helpful and provided us with a map of the City and details of bus routes. We probably could have walked to the centre in 20 minutes but we took the bus as it was a very hot day. Modern hotel with good facilities. Very few restaurants in the area but very easy to get into centre where there was a huge choice. Excellent breakfast.

Absolutely fantastic place. Staff was excellent, very helpful, friendly, and competent. Free internet, TV, toiletries in case you forget. Housekeeping every day. Breakfast was great, especially for Italy: eggs, bacon, ham, cheese, yogurt, toasts, four cereals, three juices. Location was just outside main city center (10 minute walk from train station, 15 minutes from city center). There's also a bus right into the city center. Would definitely recommend.

What made the 2 day stay especially enjoyable were the staff at the front desk. Notable was the friendlyness and competence of Simone?(sp sorry I forgot her name) who was knowledgable and fluent in several languages. When asked she suggested several great places to visit.

At the special price of 51 Euros with Breakfast this was a GREAT deal. The woman at check in (I wish I had gotten her name to congratulate her) was very personable, knowledgable and helpful. I am sorry I did not stay 2 nights, next time I plan to do so. My only quibble is that the map and directions need to be clearer-it really is easy to reach from the RR station ONCE YOU HAVE DONE IT THE FIRST TIME!

I must say that i was extremely pleased with my stay at this hotel. I will start with my only negative comment. This hotel is quite difficult to find and certainly feels a little further than the supposed 700m distance from the central station in bologna. Even locals had difficulty directing us as Via Ambrogio Magenta is in effect a small back street. However, that really is my only gripe. Everything else was great. The standard of the room was much higher than one would expect when paying only 50 euro a night. Spacious, comfortable, jacuzzi bath, fully stocked mini bar etc etc. No complaints at all. One more thing, the lady who checked us in, night receptionist maybe, i really wish i asked her name because she is a credit to the hotel. A friendier welcome i have not experienced even in so-called luxury 5 star hotels. She is wonderful. I definitely recommend this hotel 100%.

Not near to railway station and city center. The hotel has excellent furniture and bathroom. Breakfast was very good too. I recomend this hotel to those who don't want to pay much but want to have a good room and food and can go some distance to the city center.

A pleasant place to stay - clean, friendly staff, helpful. City centre is walkable (without luggage) but regular buses (27A,B or C) make it a good location. We had much trouble finding the hotel and how to get there. We rang the hotel from the station to make sure they had our booking which they could not find. However as they said they had vacancies we made the trip. We asked about our booking at the desk and yes they did have our booking made through Venere. After that the service was very good and they upgraded our room at no extra cost.

Pity the prices are pushed up during fair times. We booked for a larger party but four pulled out because of the costs - with the strength of the Euro it was beyond a mature student's budget. For the three that came it was a good experience. the map could have been clearer for those coming from the station on foot.

I loved this hotel. It was purpose built and had every amenity you could possibly need. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only drawback was that it was a 30 minute walk away from the tourist areas but this could easily be travelled by bus. The hotel was located in a quiet leafy residential area. I would definately stay here again and it has also made me consider Best Western Hotels for future trips.

this hotel is hard to find at night but with your back to the bus station you face a crossroads, big arch to left, take road to right, up to top, 15mins walk (€10 taxi)through park, straight on, hotel sign on right. excellent hotel, spotless clean, v easy for accessing everywhere once you find it.bologna not amazing but take local train to florence, amazing day out

Overall, a very nice hotel for the price with extremely friendly staff (nowadays, often a rarity in Italy). Only two minor complaints: (1) The hotel is a little difficult to find. Better maps and turn-by-turn driving directions would be much appreciated. The hotel is not far from the train station, but is a fair hike (esp. in summer heat) to the center. There is, however, a bus (#27) that runs very nearby and is quite convenient. (2) Noise from adjoining rooms is VERY noticeable. Woe to you if you get a couple with a crying baby next door, as we did. From above and from the sides you hear the TV, conversations, and every footfall. This is the only real downside to this very modern and well run little hotel.

Excellent english speaking lady at the desk, found the directions to the hotel confusing, a better map is necessary. Accomodations were outstanding for a 3 star hotel. Distance (walking) to old town was near a mile.

Overall, our stay was very pleasant, and if there is one thing that I really have to mention, is the fact that the bed was extremely comfortable! Only one thing, when we visited the hotel, there was some kind of refurbishment of the hotel in progress. It wasn't very nice to see from the outside but once you were in, everything was ok... In a few months time they should finished with that, and I believe there is going to be a lovely terrace on that hotel... Anyway, we would go back to that hotel the day we have to go to Bologna again. P.S. Breakfast was kind of "eat as much as you can"... lovely! :)
