Best Western Hotel Palladio - Bassano del Grappa

Information about works on the carpark was non-existent. Roadsigns to the Hotel are poor or non existing. The Hotel is within walking distance to the city-centre. The staff was mostly friendly. The quality of the coffee at breakfast was rather poor. The view from the room towards the river were quite nice. How do you get a four star rating for a hotel without an evening-restaurant? Is this because it is situated in Italy?

The reception was very friendly. A lot of free parking space outside directly in front of the hotel. The surroundings of the hotel seemed safe and clean. The breakfast was good, rather continental style (i.e. no scrambled eggs, no bacon etc...). The coffee was alright; I'm not especially enthusiastic about it but it was alright.

Excellent hotel in quiet position. A Junior Suite was 'only' room available, it was huge and at modest cost. Do not miss dinner in their sister hotel just around the corner, 1st class dining room, top service and absolutely delicious fried seafood.

Das Frühstück war für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie eher mäßig. Es gab zwar Wurst und Käse (kleine Auswahl), und hartgekochte Eier (kalt), aber für Rührei, Speck usw. hätte man je 2-3 € zahlen müssen. ansonsten liegt, das Hotel sehr zentral und die zimmer sind sehr gut, auch das Bett.

Positive: The rooms are air conditioned. Negative: Lack of outdoor facilities (garden, swimming pool). The restaurant is in the (nearby) Hotel Belvedere.

Large, clean room. Good Breakfast. Nice location. We are returning for another stay in September.

My opinion is that the price requested was 30% higher than how much it desearved.

It is a excellent and beautiful hotel. Front desk people are very helpful and kindly,speaking English well. As for me, costs expencive but good hotel. Breakfast is normal.
